Hmm so the Kossith could show up to be a bigger threat, running from something else or both?

This is something I'd be interested in seeing. If only because I'm insanely curious about what lies beyond Thedas.

Hmm...

And than he added that he is just a vanguard of our destruction and all organic life is nothing more than a mistake.
And that blight was created to save organics from synthetics...
Ahem. Pardon me, wrong script.

Speaking of which, was I the only one rolling my eyes when Corypheus went on about not even being able to comprehend him or some such? That worked fine for the Reapers. They're mile-and-a-half tall, billion year old alien supercomputers. Corypheus is just an extremely powerful mage with extremely poor decision making skills.

Kossith/qunari are ancient elves who drank dragon blood.

It is known.

I watched my little sisters play through as a Cadash dwarf and he also says it to Dwarves.

Sorry to burst your bubble but I think it's just scripted dialog. He also said it to my own play through, an elf, so... so far the only race is human, which makes sense because he *was* a human. To admit his race was a mistake is sorta like Varric saying son of a ****** to Bartrand. :P

So, he is basically Jon Irenicus.

Their careers  ended up pretty much the same, anyway.

Well, sort of.

Huh, so it isn't a unique line. Odd.

Still, there were some interesting tidbits thrown around this game about the Qunari race.

Concerning the qunari, well people who have been abused, become abusers. Just like in RL.

The qunari are the ancient elves maybe?

Iron Bull DOES mention a possible theory regarding Qunari and Dragons after your first High Dragon fight...

But that brings something else into question, Kossith, what came before the Qun, clearly existed before, but they were found on the OPPOSITE side of the map from Par Vollen, in Fereldan. Did they look anything like the Qunari of today?

Also, spoilers for Bull's romance.

Spoiler

At the very least, the Qunari seem to very much revere and respect dragons. Why didn't Sten mention any of this in Origins?

Sten barely talked about the Qun and his people. In Darkspawn Chronicle DLC, he has the Reaver spec though...

That was a colony, it doesn't mean they came from the south.

Short answer: The devs hadn't though of it yet.

Or Sten just doesn't hold much stock in that belief. It might be more of a Ben-Hassrith thing.

You can't just start a colony in the outskirts of Fereldan without someone noticing you move, unless they didn't look a damn thing back then like they do today.

If they landed by sea on the edge of deep wilderness, sure they could. And considering they produced Ogres just like Qunari females do, I don't imagine they were drastically different.

That's still a very long way to travel just for a colony. Unless they didn't come from Par Vollen at all. Maybe beyond the Amaranthine Ocean?

No reason to think they did, storms or unfriendly locals can explain the lack of earlier landing.

And let's not forget that the main reason that remote colony exists is to explain ogres in the First Blight in a way that doesn't reveal the existence of the oxmen before the Qunari made their entrance, a retcon.

Ressurrected! Does anyone remember the -exact- words Corypheus used when talking to a qunari in the end game? From what I remember it goes something like:

What are you...Qunari?

Your race is not even a race, it is a mistake.

Your blood is filled with corruption, something something?

A science experiment gone wrong?

Something Dr Neo Cortex would make.

They might be foreshadowing future storylines. People have been saying the Qunari might be a big part of a future entry in the series.

Hopefully they will get some better armors and romance options.

Dear god, if the Kossith made the Qunari high tail it out of their home. How badass are they and what do they look like ?

it´s still funny, I do remember some line about un-horned quanari, something in meaning that they are ment to be special because they are missing horns, yet back in DA:O was every Quanari without horns.

curse you and your Game of Thrones references.

It's not necessarily a Game of Thrones reference. Alistair has dragon blood, for instance.
