If there's a ladder involved to reach 'higher' ground (only reachable by that ladder) and you want your character to attack (shoot) someone not in sight of that character, your character will jump scenes not using the ladder but 'ending' up at the bottom of ladder, jumping scenes again and appearing back on the scaffold. This will repeat until you break command and have him 'move' down the ladder first before having him attack the enemy.
Also loot will wind up being on the scaffold without an enemy dying there.
I've had that happen with Varric. Totally bugged!
