hi guys so yea the envy demon is kicking my ass badly how do i beat this thing?

Is your tank building guard up? Does your mage use barrier?

i made the awful mistake of starting the mission without a mage lol the is me a two handed warrior quinari ...iron bull ....blackwall and sera

Honestly, I have spent all potions in the previous area (because there was some supply crate and I thought it has unlimited usage ;D ) so I entered this fight with 0 potions left.

 

I needed to set the easiest difficulty after two attempts on Hard (was already too late lol)

 

Simply said, I tried:

 

1. always taunted him with one of my two fighters

2. always used barrier on my warriors

 

3. if one of my characters died, I picked one of the mage/ranger couple to revive (while tanks were making ED busy)

4. when other enemies popped up, I taunted ED and then ran to deal with common enemies first (So basically while I was killing my other chars, he was chasing my tank)

 

** he also uses some characteristical moves, the "stunning one" is against melee and then the "appear-from-beneath-the-ground" is against ranged, they deal a lot of damage, maybe there is way how to avoid them

 

The fight was really long and hard even after switched to easiest difficulty, mainly because of no potions left and companions doing whatever they like instead of reviving characters (even if I commanded them for that)
