Which is a shame because I want a harder challenge, but making the difficulty higher for some reason turns all my followers into retards.
So here's an example of how retarded a follower acts in hard mode:
Sera, while using a bow, never uses any abilities and walks closer to the enemy while firing a bow. She goes so close to the enemy that she's literally almost right next to it. With a bow. And just using normal attack and never or rarely ever using any abilities. And if she does use an ability it's usually only invisibility. Even then, she breaks out of it instantly by performing another normal attack >_<. And I set leaping shot and lightning flask ability set as top priority but no, she never uses those... all other settings were default.
Here's what happens in normal mode:
Sera utilizes just about all her abilities and uses them ok. Not perfect, but barely decent enough, and once in awhile, she pulls off a very nice move at the right situation ( like using leaping shot for someone that is about to charge into her.) At times she acts really dumb, but at least she utilizes all her abilities.
(Note that I do not know exactly what causes the follower Ai retard syndrome, but changing difficulty mode to hard is one of the ways to do it.)
So I suggest the devs to make Hard mode Ai to be the same as Normal mode Ai. Otherwise even fighting simple regular enemies is a chore.
