Maybe some of the rooms are being kept for future DLC?

Sounds to me like you need to fire your workmen and get someone in there to do the job properly!

Thats the answer for every lame thing they left out in this game... armor, hair, skyhold... They will fix it in dlc.
Remember when it was not called dlc, but "expansion." Because it expanded on a full developed game and continued the story?

I don't see why you would have a concrete expectation for Skyhold to be fully repaired by the end of the game. To get annoyed about it seems bizarre. If they left a few rooms vacant in case they wanted to add something in the future, I see it as good planning.

I agree--it annoyed me too that Cullen had a tree crashing through his bedroom ceiling, and the hallway to war room still had bricks on the floor even after Skyhold was supposedly all fixed up. It was like Fenris' mansion all over again.

I found every quarry, logging site, and did all the Skyhold "repairs". I didn't see any visual difference for these updates though except for the garden, but that was just three more pots to grow plants in. Why all the quarry and logging sites when they're not being used? It's really frustrating that Skyhold looks like trash even after the quests are finished.

Yeah, as I posted in another thread-
Upgrading skyhold is a joke, and another of the many weird pieces of design. Why do I need to commandeer 2(thats 2!) quarries and 2 logging stands in order to build a small wooden fence for soldiers to practice ice in in the courtyard?
It is really disappointing, but I'm not bothered about them leaving bits not upgraded for later tbh. So long as it actually makes sense, and is an actual upgrade, but it probably wont be.

I agree the upgrades felt so minimal.
No idea why you need so many resources for a small wooden fence in the courtyard, and some extra pots in your garden. The only upgrade that felt ok was the main tower upgrade in my opinion. (mage/templar tower). I wish there was more interactivity aswell (fx hold sparring matches against other npc's at the courtyard if you took the training grounds courtyard upgrade)
