During the first conversation I had with Solas after returning from the Winter Palace, he says that Celene will be a steadfast ally "especially after helping her neutralize Briala". The problem is, when talking to Celene:

1. I said Briala helped me find evidence against Gaspard.
2. I deliberately did not implicate Briala when given the choice later in the conversation.

...so Solas' comment surprised me and I can't find any way to verify the outcome for Briala. 

 

Is Briala automatically assumed implicated if you collect blackmail information on her?

Did you convince Briala and Celene to work together? Or reconsile their relationship?

Same thing happened to me, and I said Briala helped me, and then said you two should make up because of the locket.  It seems that it happens no matter what.
