After reading all these comments, I don't see how so many people have trouble with any fight. I started off on nightmare (I always go for the hardest difficulty, as I like a challenge and learn quickly under pressure) but was sorely disappointed once I reached level 4. I felt the game was far too easy. I didn't even need to use the tactical pause throughout the game which is what I loved about Origins (although origins suffered from the same problems at high levels). I solo'd my first dragon (crestwood) at level 13 with my Knight-Enchanter. Granted, I learned a Knight-Enchanter is pretty much invincible. The minute I realized we could generate a barrier with every hit things became way too easy. You have the ultimate weapon and the ultimate shield, in this case the best defense is literally offense... I destroyed pretty much everything after that without a sweat. I tried felling a dragon without the Knight-Enchanter and it does require more management (finally an excuse to use the tactical pause) but otherwise it's still quite doable once you see through the pattern. By the time you reach Corypheus the difficulty is a joke. I hope that's something they improve in the future for the Dragon Age franchise. I remember being actually nervous when fighting a High Dragon in Origins. I want to feel that adrenaline rush again. I hope they can make it as dynamic as Dragon's Dogma. That game has a lot of problems, but epic dragon fights isn't one of them!
