The console was popping up in a MP game today. I don't know why or how. This was the second time this happened. The first time was in SP. It's worse in a MP game, because I let my team down, since I couldn't move anymore. I had to shut down the game via task manager.

Can some dev please tell me how to close the console?

Finally you can chat with your teammates.

Try writing: say something

when it  happens.

The console is opened by the key that is at the left of the 1 key (in my keyboard it is the | key, but I'm in South America so it might be different from yours)

It is pretty annoying, I don't know if there is a way to rebind it

Thanks! That would be the ^ key in Europe :) The problem is, I think I can't avoid it to hit the key accidentally, in the heat of the battle..

Do you know how to close the console too?

No, sadly it didn't. I think I tried every key on the keyboard. It must be either a combination of keys or a command. Or maybe a shifted key...

It's closed and opened by the same button

OK, thank you. I will try to hammer every key on my keyboard next time it happens and start with the ^ key. I already knew that a console is opened with the ^ key from other games, such as Vampire Bloodlines, but usually you have to add some command to your .exe file in the first place. Not so in DA:I obviously, cause I didn't do that.

It's the tilde "~" key on US keyboards.
