Is there any way I can get a benefit for the City Elf Briala? Like will elves get more respect. Somebody said you can make all three work for Inquisition but I'm not sure

You can outright support Briala, instead of Celene or Gaspard, by letting Celene die and gathering evidence against Gaspard to blackmail him; the elves benefit when she's the true ruler of Orlais, although you don't see this directly. Making all three work together works for a short period of time, but it's not an optimal outcome in the long run because it falls apart.

Ok thanks bro. My 2nd elf Inquisitor will do that. My human rogue will side with Gasparilla just to be different.

Making all 3 work together doesn't do anything except prolong the civil war. If you really want more rights for elves, either make Briala rule or reconcile Celene and Briala.

How do I make Briala shadow empress?

You can discover a letter to the general about Gaspard bringing mercenaries to the ball, you can uncover that he was threatening the council, and you can find one of his mercenaries and convince him to reveal that he was working for Gaspard if you ask him to.

If you ask Briala what her plans are when she becomes the true ruler of the empire, she says, "The elves of Orlais will make great gains under our new emperor. Wait and see." In private, she tells the Inquisitor, "The elves of Orlais have a future. For the first time in centuries."

And that's why she'll never gain power in my games.

Because its just "elves, elves, elves, elves and screw the rest of Orlais" for her.

She reminds me of the revolutionaries in France during the Reign of Terror, completely throwing out the old order in exchange for a more egalitarian society, but shredding the social fabric of the nation in the process.

Edmund Burke may have been a moron, but he understood that completely throwing a society into a tail spin can only end in disaster.

Reconciling Celene and Briala is a more moderate way to support both Orlais and elves if someone wishes it this way. And the epilogue of this ending, provided Gaspard has been executed, has the most promising stability for Orlais.

Briala's main objective is to empower the elves after centuries of oppression, abuse, and murder. As opposed to the alternative, where both Celene and Gaspard (ruling alone) focus exclusively on the humans, and the elves still suffer, whether it's chevaliers killing innocent elves as part of their initiation rite, or the mass killings of men, women, and children in the purges.

Burke was a moron because he advocated offensive war to end the Revolution when it was still confined to France and when the monarchy was still at least theoretically in charge. He helped to exacerbate the situation beyond any hope of containing it and keeping the peace.

I don't think that Briala is very much like any of the revolutionaries in the Terror at all. It's a real-world association with little comparative merit and a good deal of potential to annoy and confuse people.

I did say he was a moron....

Briala shows little concern for working within the bounds of Orlais, she has helped throw the entire nation into chaos in order to have the lowest of the low rise up against their oppressors. She shows little concern for those she is endangering. Ripping apart the entire social fabric of Orlais in the name of equality is reminiscent of the Terror. I don't mean to make a direct one to one correlation between the two, or say she is Robespierre in fantasy!France.

Right. I don't disagree that the city elves deserve beter conditions and more rights.

But going full elf isn't the best way to do it. There are still more humans than elves in Orlais, so to just ignore them wouldn't help society in the long run.

Ofcourse I don't know how she does treat the humans after she gains power, so if it turns out that I'm wrong then I'll change my mind about her.

In the novel, Celene was attempting to empower all of her people (including elves) and break down the strict class system of Oralais, but she was doing that slowly through the game. She's also the one of the three with empathy towards commoners, even though she could be pretty ruthless.

Thank you for sharing the video. There doesn't seem to be any mention about what happens to the elves with Celene and Briala reconciled, which is a bit odd.

Some of it is discussed in the wicked eyes and wicked hearts quests. Briala becomes a Marquise (female for Marquis?) which is basically a nobility title and when talking to the crowd Celene says together elves and humans will lead Orlais to victory against their enemies and the crowd is quite happy about it.

It's a little unclear what exactly this entails, however; I suppose I was hoping for something a little more definitive about whether or not the elves would fare as well under Celene (if she reunited with Briala) as they do when Briala is in charge. Briala also becomes Marquise of the Dales when she rules Orlais through her figurehead Gaspard.

If you talk to Solas with the two reconciled, he outright says the elves will get more rights with Briala's help

Neither is making Briala and Gaspard work together optimal, because that's implied to fall apart too. Of course it will: Gaspard started the war because he was so prideful, how long will his patience last when he is being ordered around by an elf?

The best solution for elven equality is reuniting Briala and Celene. Briala actually gets to address the court with that ending, and is immediately granted a title by the Empress.

I was never under the impression that it was on the verge of falling apart; Gaspard is in a difficult situation because of the evidence collected against him that would invalidate his position as Emperor (which is why he agrees to this arrangement in the first place), and the nobles who want to go against Briala are intimidated by Briala's alliance with the elven Inquisitor.

Briala also gains the title of Marquise when she has Gaspard working for her. As for which scenario is better (reuniting Briala with Celene, or Briala ruling Orlais), I suppose that's subjective.

In Briala and Gaspard case nobles start to resist unless the Inquisitor is an elf, in which case its implied the relation between Briala and the Inquisitor keeps the stability. If the Inquisitor is not an elf this is not said. Its rather interesting.

well its cause they will think its Elven plot, they opinion on Elves is low, if human sides with Bri then Inquisitor is a example how is right & that they are wrong, they mite not like it, but they keep their moth shut,  if one powerful Human sees Elves differently its a bigger & harder message that: u Elve haters are Idiots! but if Elven Inquisitor support her its like, he supports her cause hes an Elf to & so they don't take it seriously & they don't see their wrong, & i was not talking about Briala and Gaspard, i was talking about Bri & Celene, if its with out Gas then Inquisitor has to be human or it will be said that only the alliance keeps her on throne, if its human she has no problems, as far as i heard, in ur case cause hes Elf they fear cause ur Herald, they think its like going against their god if they go against u, with human its just that u give a example so they back down, so in ur case they want to go against Bri but holding back cause of u, its like ho people believe more ex con who say's hes innocent or a another ex con who say's he is or a witness who say's he is? witness?  OFC!!! cause Elven Inquisitor  standing up for elves is for them like ex con backing ex con, so its logical, its how humans would behave in Orley people chose
