I would really prefer to be able to salvage those Inquisition weapons and armour. I already have 4 extra (Inquisition) armours for my legionnaire that I can't salvage and I will never use, cause I already got a better one for him. Same with weapons. The stuff is just jamming my inventory and it keeps coming in..

You shouldn't have more than one set of inquisition items. :o

I was on the same page as the op in this one, they do clog the inventory but they do have a purpose as well.  If you salvage all the weapons of a type your character still needs to have a weapon so you get the default one.  For example if you find a better staff and salvage the one you were using the game equips your base staff until yo9u equip your new one.  It is a safe guard against having no weapons at all.

I think the defaults are there because if you salvage a weapon you have equipped on someone, the inquisition gears puts on them. In theory, they could just spawn them and put them on as needed but that would likely lead to abuse with peeps constantly breaking down the inquisition gear. At least early game, until they get more then enough of the basic items to build their characters.

^ this.

They should make the Inquisition gear salvageable and add a safety function to equipped stuff, a lock to prevent you from accidentally salvaging your best gear.

I would love to see a lock feature.  Would be nice if absent-mindedness takes over.

:wizard:  I wear the Commander's Plate, which is also not salvageable. The other 4 are useless to me. I would rather have a destroy function in the game, than to have them sit in the inventory.

You can't salvage any armor, afaik.

But if in a years time you want to do a Platinum Rift Dangerzone vs Darkspawn with starter weapons and armour, how will you flop out your epeen if you've destroyed them?

Just saying, those Avenger X and Shuriken X's were "useful" when you wanted to self-nerf yourself.

One problem I have is when I unequip a weapon (Not one of the inquisition ones) is it seems to become not salvageable (When I know it was when I first found the weapon) which bugs me since I could salvage it for materials that I could use to craft parts for the stronger weapon I swapped it out for. =\

You have to reload the page because it's a counter to accidentally salvaging a weapon you might not want to if you're just switching weapons or something. It's K

Weapons I don't care that much , but the armors are really annoying , they should let us salvage , and once you do it , the armor you salvaged should appear to be crafted again when , and IF you want .

They already did. ;)

So they could safely unlock the Inquisition weapons, yes. But I doubt they will, because you can never be sure what glitches won't happen.

Besides, maybe there is an Inquisition weapon challenge in the future. :o

Hey now, Shuriken X and Predator X had functionally 0 weight. You could get the full 200% cooldown bonus with any weakling character. And the Predator with an autofire macro was really more of an SMG.
