If your going to make console design choices then as a PC gamer I simply dont want that crap.

The landscape is awesome and I enjoy that the rest is made to play on casual and listening to some guys talking.

if you dont respect me as a PC gamer I cant respect your work the last 4 years either as your design choice just is bad.

If you didnt reelase this crap on PC then I wouldnt bothered with it at all as I dont play console games due to not owning or will ever own a console.

Just stop release on PC thank you unless you actually do design for PC.

You realize, of course, that Bioware/EA keeps track of these kinds of posts and automatically ignores any future suggestions you make, right?

With the exception of Tactical View that gets stuck too easily, I have 0 problems with the controls whatsoever. The UI could be better but it does not bother me the slightest.

So stop speaking for the rest of us.

Doesn't matter if we are force to use a controller, we have far better performance and graphics than consoles.

I've played the game on PC, I've played the game on consoles.
While I DO prefer console controls (and picked up a cheap controller for playing the game on my own PC), the PC controls are NOT as terrible as people make them out to be.

You need to use the official xBox 360 controllers for PC to not have any issues with the PC version.

I've put in 40 hours with keyboard and mouse and not had problems with the controls. My only wish is that you could zoom out more in tactical view.

Looking at the PC community concern thread that looks doubtful.

I'm playing on PC, and it's not as bad as everyone says it is. Yes, it is clear, this game was made with a console in mind, and then retrofitted to mouse/keyboard, but aside from the tactical camera(which should be renamed scouting camera/telling the dumb ranged AI to get away from the enemy camera, since I didn't use it for anything else) the game is okay. I've had zero problems with optimization, very few bugs, which considering recent open world games, it's a big deal.

Although they could have made the abilities bar longer...

Hmmm i have put in close to 70 hours now.... and to be honest no troubles here either. Now it is true that the tactical camera is limited sometimes and my camera flipped from time to time... but that's why you stop the time.

Calm yourself.... Breath in friend.... Breath out...Breath in.... Breath out...

Are you starting to remember you were a good spirit in the fade.

A powerful spirit of the PC... don't go and change into an abomination friend.

Well we are more intelligent than the console users so they expect us to get used to the new meta controls for KB & M and adopt to these new changes.

I agree. I'm not having issues with controls using keyboard/mouse. Matches how I play most my games anyways. Could use better zoom both in/out but that is probably a simple tweak.

Looking at the PC community concern thread that looks doubtful.

Some people using the PC are having troubles.  That's inevitable, as "PC" is a huge range of hardware and software.  I'm having some troubles with the DX crash bug despite upgrading to the beta drivers supposed to help with it.  The tactical camera has some flaws, mostly having to do with being blocked by terrain and isn't ideal.

But I'm playing just fine and enjoying the game.  I haven't encountered any other bugs that I am aware of.  The controls don't seem a whole lot different than most WASD games.  I know some people want an autoattack and others want mouse key remapping, but those are not universal or catastrophic flaws that merit claims of being a bad console port.

Eh the game's completely playable and I defintely want them to keep releasing games on PC.

The controls are clunky as hell though but that can be fixed with tweaking.

God why are people always throwing the baby out with the bathwater or worse fixing crap that's not broken.

I'm personally finding the controls pretty horrid, and even though I don't want to, I suspect I am going to have to cave in and gets controller, because it just feels awful right now and if I want to even get through the game I need to do something to make it less painful.

That said, I honestly don't think it should have got to a point people feel like the only way they can play the game is to resort to using a controller. If you are going to sell the product on PC, it's not unreasonable to expect that the game would be playable with native PC controls. However, rather than suggesting Bioware not release their games on PC at all, it would far better if they put the time in to develop a proper control set-up for M&K, even if that means releasing the PC version later than the consoles. I, for one, would be happy to wait for a PC version with fully customised controls and UI suited to that format, rather than the flawed console port we got.

I'm enjoying the game on PC, using mouse and keyboard.  I'm woeful at using controllers, so I assure you that switching to one wouldn't improve my experience.  (I still wince with embarrassment at my total failure to get Shepard to do anything when I played the start of ME3 at an ME3 launch party that only offered controllers.)

It took me about 15 minutes to remap a few keys and get used to it.  Yes, I wish the tactical camera zoomed out further like many have said, but not everything in life will generally be perfect.  Please keep making games for PC Bioware.  That is the way I will always roll.

I bought the game for PC and experienced no issue with the controls/UI. There is still room for improvement especially with the tactical camera but overall everything is fine.

As far as I can tell, the 'evidence' of being a console port is that the mousekeys can't be remapped? Because it seems rather like a lot of other PC games as far as controls go.  Is "failed console port" just one of those generic insults people use when they can't explain their problem accurately?
