I'm a PC gamer, but i have to say: PC gamer's are Pain in the ...

Oh really? When was the last time you heard of PC gamers bringing down a network. Remember SOE or the week xbox online was - offline due to attacks. So no..ALL gamers are a pain in the ass. But 75% of that pain the devs deserve.

I had no problems with the UI it was easy for me maybe you should stick to easy games instead of asking bioware to stop making things for us pc gamers >.>

As far as I can tell, the 'evidence' of being a console port is that the mousekeys can't be remapped? Because it seems rather like a lot of other PC games as far as controls go.  Is "failed console port" just one of those generic insults people use when they can't explain their problem accurately?

The game definitely feels like it would be more at home on a console, I won't lie, but aside from a minor learning curve, it really isn't that bad.

I have however, only played as a mage and an archery warrior. I have not spent a lot of time on the melee classes yet. It could be very different for them.

I own all three DA games on both Xbox360(Wish I didn't have DA:I on it) and on PC

I'll never finish DA:I on console, but it will be the only game on PC I'll play all the way through.  The controls for DA:O and DA2 are so horrible I can't play because of it.  I was worried about getting the PC version that I got the old gen console instead.  But after a week of looking at crap, I decided to get it on PC and the controls are what I want in a PC game.

I don't use a controller for any game on PC.

Although it was very poorly expressed, the OP makes a very legitimate point. Bioware's port to the PC is substandard and not worthy of the very competent graphics and story. It is a let down, and stops a good game from being a great game.

Substandard in what way? Like the port of Origins to console? Because that was just awful.

90+ hours in, no issues with the controls on PC so far. I honestly don't understand what is supposed to be awful there. Someone care to explain?

Bioware, don't listen to such posts ... just keep developing as you see fit. Never had any issues with controls, can't wrap my head around why people have problems with it. I played Dark Souls 1 with keyboard + mouse without much pain, so I really cannot understand the whole fuss at all ...

I've heard people complain about melee combat mostly, but I've only played very little of it, so I cannot say.

Key mapping was disappointing, I won't lie, having only 8 of my powers at my disposable at any given time could be annoying as hell, was this to make it more equal to the consoles though? I can't say.

The solution is quite simple. If you don't like what they're doing, don't buy their products.

How about you just encourage them to improve the UI instead of suggesting they abandon PC entirely if it's not to your standards? I had no issue with the UI, personally - that tactical camera on the other hand...*shudders*

Well we are more intelligent than the console users so they expect us to get used to the new meta controls for KB & M and adopt to these new changes.

I am console player.

Not like when more buttons than fingers !

Trigger make swordy go whak-whak and demon dead. Ha ha...

Bioware made some astonishingly careless decisions here, but as others have said that's hardly a reason to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Pressure them to fix bullscat like the tac cam, auto attack, etc, not tell them to go away.

I play PC using controller I am happy. I could not play the game on day 1 due to dx errors I spent the time to configure and tweak and now the game runs almost flawlessly. I'm on 4 and a half year old dell with a 650 ti nvidia card.

I am a veteran fps and mmo player I could not control dao or da 2 well on the PC i was constantly stutter stepping because of the click to move controls whenever it would try to mouse turn I would put a target down on the ground and move there. It was very annoying.

For this reason I'm glad they gave us such good controller support for PC.

If your going to make console design choices then as a PC gamer I simply dont want that crap.

The landscape is awesome and I enjoy that the rest is made to play on casual and listening to some guys talking.

if you dont respect me as a PC gamer I cant respect your work the last 4 years either as your design choice just is bad.

If you didnt reelase this crap on PC then I wouldnt bothered with it at all as I dont play console games due to not owning or will ever own a console.

Just stop release on PC thank you unless you actually do design for PC.

Then don´t buy the game. Problem solved and the rest of the PC users can actually enjoy the game without you imposing your views to them.

The evidence is that controls feel like no one sat in front of a computer and played a meele character for 5 minutes before shipping.

I don't see what all the fuss is about. I played two playthroughs on pc and the gameplay experience was smooth as butter. Plug in a remote for my third and it's very clunky, and not as fluid. If anything consoles got the short end of the stick with this game. There's nothing wrong with the pc gameplay/ui. It's far better than the console version.

Many are missing the point, it's not that the ui is horrible, but it could be a LOT better if it wasn't made with controller/console as main approach, heck origins has much better ui. But Inquisition is hardly the only game plagued by this, Skyrim, Battlefield,Mass Effect and list goes on.

And this is where you're missing the point. They developed both versions alongside each other. This wasn't a "port" from console to pc. The pc ui and gameplay is far superior to console and will always be. There isn't anything wrong with it people are just complaining for the sake of complaining. It is amusing how people bash console games for being too simple, yet in the same breath complain that there isn't an easy "push a to auto attack" button for pc. Hypocrisy at its finest.
