Bioware.... I love you, but you suck at hairstyles.

Origins there where 3 or 4 i liked and in DA 2 there was two I kept switching back and forth between. In inquisition there is one that I actually like.

In the message boards you said you were going to make a lot of new choices, and you did..... If you want to be a bald woman or a woman with a manly haircut. They are really monstrous in my oppinion.

Even the nice ones from DA II and so on aren't there anymore.

And Tallis had the only ponytail in any of the games, that actually looked real.

I was alright with it at first thinking "Oh well, someone will make a mod", but so far nothing.

I don't care if I have to pay for it, but could you please realease a DLC with hairstyles in it?

On another note, what is with the constant unisex outfits. There are some nice dresses in the game and I show up at the Orlisian ball, wearing a mans uniform?

The clothes in the keep aren't that bad, but still. Is it so bad that I would like something just a little more feminine?

Or is it just me?

WHY IS THERE NO HAIR PHYSICS?! This bothers me to no end. Sera's hair moves, and so does Morrigan's, but then you have Leliana with her hard pasta for hair look, And your inquisitor of course.

It's so baffling! Not many games fetishize the look of your character so much, and Bioware sort of shrugged their shoulders with this.

The character creator is really good though.

The hair really does let the rest of the CC down. I don't know what happened to it, but the hair (and especially) the beard textures are just awful, truly embarrassingly bad and they make what should be excellent looking models into something much less appealing.

At least hair looks less like Lego minifig accessories, even if it doesn't move.

Lord Frostbite engine can't handle long hair. Seems like shooter progeny has to do something with it.

The rest of the CC is just so good, this is dissapointing.

And I get the long hair thing (though let us not disregard Flemmeth's long hair).

But Morrigans is pretty and the ones I posted above shouldn't cause a problem.

And as for Frostbite being a problem, Mass effect did it - you know for everyone else but Shepard - Luckily we have mods!

I can live with it not moving a lot. It is - after all - a video game. But you can make hair like this without it being a major problem.

It just sometimes seem like they cut down on expenses by only making unisex stuff - like hair and clothes - which is a shame. Especially when there characters prove how good they really are at making them.

The hair on the Qunari is near criminally bad from what I've seen.  I hope they get some added ASAP in a patch so they can become playable (From a visual standpoint)

@cowoline;

I mention the moving hair thing because it's starting to become a 'staple' more or less with videogames. This means though DA:I looks exquisite, it's going to look dated in this regard very soon. But this ultimately doesn't matter! It's just odd how they added moving hair to some characters and did nothing to others. I mean, you already have flowing capes and drapes, how hard could this be?

But I do agree with you on general hair quality (My Qunari's hair is awful.) Contrast to this game:

Good point, but the game is going to look dated at some point, nomatter what you do. Let's hope someone has great modding capabilities ;)
