If the other characters get a sex scene, why can't she?
Because sex isn't a crucial part of a relationship to many people. Why should they have zero options yet again?
Plus she isn't the only one without one.

Quite. Solas, as well.
At the same time, Josie has a romance arc like any other, there is no sex, in return you get two romantic scenes and the duel, some will prefer this, some would prefer sex, they cant please everyone. If you want to see sex then theres plenty on places to see it. Its like saying "rogues use a bow and mages can not, this is not fair, and no I will not be a rogue because it is not compatible with me" but at then end of the day, the option is there, you just do not like it.
This is true. The object isn't to get them to retrofit Josephine's romance; this is too fanciful a possibility to be given credence. Rather, it's to show our dissatisfaction to Bioware over this decision and hopefully make them less likely to do it again in the future.
I would love a DLC that could explore this with Josephine, which is a long shot, but I thought Briala/Celene was a long shot too.
I thought you had no types of gals.
Yeah, personally, I'm not into gals in general. But if I roll a lesbian (or bisexual, I suppose) character, there are types of gals who I enjoy the romance arcs for more than others. For example, I didn't like Liara or Kelly in ME, Leliana in DA: O, or Merrill in DA2, but I did enjoy Juhani in KOTOR and Isabela in DA 2. I suspect that I might like Sera, but she's just a bit annoying, so Blackwall it might have to be. It will be weird being a 'straight' relationship in the game, though. Only ever did that once with Alistair.
Basically, yes.
You see them kissing and nuzzling on the couch, and at the end Josephine says that she will always be at your side. It's never said what they did or didn't do together beyond what you saw, that's left for interpretation.
Huh. Well that's interesting then. It's not necessarily a sexless relationship then. It's just one that doesn't have a sex scene. Reading people's objections about how it's not 'a real romance' made me think it required you to be nonsexual with her. As in, explicitly stated that it was nonsexual, like Sebastian's chaste romance in DA 2.
It's a shame. Josephine's romance could have been a lot more interesting.
So, just to be clear, the addition of one scene where Josephine and the Inquisitor have sex (even if it had no dialogue) would have made the romance "a lot more interesting"? I'm trying to be clear if I understand you.
Quite. Solas, as well.
And technically Sera
If the other characters get a sex scene, why can't she?
No other character gets a duel scene, in the case of Solas, no other character gets a quest involving a spirit friend, in the case of Cassandra, no other characters personal quest is all about seekers. There is no reason for this other than it does not seem to fit with the character, same goes for Josie and the lack of a sex scene.

That's still stupid though. They can have the option by opting out of sex when GIVEN The choice in game. By barring it out entirely no one has any options.

I agree, in a perfect world every character would have an optional sex scene, but we are unfortunately not the people making design choices, and if we were, Dragon age would turn into terrible fanfiction ![]()

It would, yes. Because you can get a lot out of it; just watching Merrill's scene in DA2, for instance, gave a lot of character nuance in how suddenly eager Merrill was when the fear had lifted. In addition to them cuddling thereafter. Not to mention that it says a lot when we learn how sex is approached for them.
And technically Sera
Well, none of them actually show the act, if you want to get technical. You see the lead in, but jump to the post-coitus scene.

Use your mind for naughty stuff, better then awkward animated pixel sex.

A fanfiction that would be burned in Dragon fire

Inquisitor getting dressed after sex with Cullen and sitting in front to hide his junk from the player was amusing.

No.

I mean that I heard her scene doesn't have nudity at all unless you do a certain thing
No.

Huh?
I'm pretty sure she always has nudity, tatas ablazing, during her romance scene.

Only if you do what Vivienne suggests.

Same with Bull and Dorian too. I was screaming at my Inquisitor to get the hell out of the way so I could look lol.
I mean that I heard her scene doesn't have nudity at all unless you do a certain thing
Then you're SOL
No. The writer's SOL because I'm not romancing her lame character.
Only if you do what Vivienne suggests.
Huh. I stand corrected then.

You would never need zero options. Just make the sex scene player-triggered.

Oh well, more for me and others ![]()
And Cass
