Everyone loves Dorian, Elves have their followers but there is one gropu that needed the most support- The Chevaliers.
I am really disappointed that one of the most intresting fractions doesn't have support thread.
But the most disappointing thing that The Chevaliers actually doesn't have personality in the game. Oh no they have 3 minutes of Gaspard and three lines of Michel.

My point is- let's show developers that there are people that love them and would like to see more of them and may be we get Chevalier companion in the next game.

Will you follow? Will you fight?

The Chevaliers are utterly despicable. They should not be supported.

I support the disbanding and arrest of the Chevaliers.

There, I fit the prerequisites for this thread.  :D

The basis of chevaliers is the ideal of chivalry and that i support. While a good chunk of the chevaliers are far from the noble ideals, a truly paragon chevalier companion that lives by the ideals to the tune of Brienne of Tarth would be welcome. Man or woman, just so long as we get a true knight in shining armor *starry eyes *

Doesn't change the fact the Chavaliers weren't needed to defeat a Blight like you said.

The Chevaliers are nothing but glorified thugs who are allowed to do whatever they want to those they are supposed to protect.

I am so tired of "knight in shing armor" type. Alas- we had Blackwall already. I am hoping on grey character like Michel de Chevin or Jaime Lannister.

Every single one of them has to murder a city elf as part of their initiation, so yes all of them are at the very least murderers.

Yes, because "Blackwall" is a great person to judge what is moral or not.  ;)

This is Medieval- every warrior is murder or victim. Hard times- hard people. I am tired of repeating that.

Why not? He tries best what he can.

Not really. Killing someone who is trying to kill you on the battlefield is not murder. Going around an alienage slaughtering city elves for an initiation is murder. I'd say the same of any real order of soldiers who did the same.

Considering his personal quest, Yes

Considering what he did, him having a positive opinion of them is pretty much a terrible person having a positive opinion of a slightly less terrible person.

Do Chevaliers even qualify as a faction of their own? Aren't they just knights with a fancy name?

They are kind of like Orlais' version of the special forces. Part of a bigger group, but their own separate one as well.

There are a lot of the same warriors initiations in out world.

And as I said in the very next sentence, I view those warriors the same way I view the Chevaliers.

So not liking people who murder innocent people are living in a My Litle Pony world? That is a very optimistic opinion of Earth you have since even in medieval times murder was a very serious crime.

Just like Magisters, a Chevalier is despicable by default unless he goes renegade against the order. Dorian is a good example of this.
