I know a lot of people are rightly upset at the subpar state of multiplayer. I too have many problems with it, but I have confidence that Bioware will patch it all up eventually. But I do question at some of the design decisions in multiplayer that I don't know if they will be changed. That so many awesome uniques are granted at their low-level singleplayer version makes them useless to any player who has spent more than a day grinding up some decently leveled gear. It's just such an awful waste of potential and I do hope that BW changes the uniques to make them attractive even in the endgame.
still looking at items?

My big question is :
What the frack can i do whit 259 iron ore ? ![]()
Would love to do something - anything really.
And yes getting lvl 1 common dagger that is worst hten the inqusition starting dagger you get for free whit the specific kit is just epic.
How about if we get a item of a type - lets say "Crapy dagger of shity RNGod" - we cant get any more of this specific item ?
Oh well off to get some more iron ore.

The loot system is designed to encourage spending money on microtransactions. Its pretty obvious. Be offended all you want.

I have two unique staves in my inventory, a level 5 and a level 14. My best staff is a level 20 common. Yeah, I don't care about the color of the cards much anymore. It really is a step backwards from ME3's MP. Also, despite getting numerous, duplicate character cards in ME3 MP, at least those were useful for quickly promoting characters that you did not play. What am I supposed to do with all this metal and other worthless crafting material? It's not like I can upgrade it to tier 2 or 3, or use it to make that level 23 unique item I really want.
Pretty much this. Loot system in DAMP is a huge bummer. I got this unique purple staff yesterday and just laughed because it was worse than the common I'm using.
What I would love to see is a system that allows me to upgrade the item level of my weapons, using mats from salvaging. I really like the way that staff looks, it would be awesome for my Keeper. Has a kickass name, too. It's just... useless. Let me put in the work to make it useful.

Got my second purple unique today!
It was level 7 or something :\ Cool secondary abilities, but DPS was well below my current weapon.

I really love this idea.

Perhaps salvaging needs to be more rewarding. More crafting options perhaps?

I like this too. Looting a legendary should feel legendary, even if it's only level 3 if you have the option to slowly upgrade it with salvage materials it would feel more rewarding.
Diablo 3 had a somewhat similar issue with their loot. Legendaries were very rare, and when they dropped you would also have to be very lucky to get decent rolls. This diminished the expected joy from looting a rare item. It just became "*sigh* another vendor-trash item". Things got much better in the expansion for Diablo 3, though there still are undesirable legendaries they don't sting as bad.

Only to people who have no understanding of the system at all. Anyone who gives the system a good look will realize it's even more risky and unrewarding than spending money on ME3MP was. They might WANT us to spend real money on it, but they've failed at encouraging us to, handily.
Anyway, until there's some improvement, some glimmer of hope that my investment of time (and/or bucks) will be rewarded I've got no desire to put much time into multiplayer at all. I dropped 360+ hours on ME3MP. I was really hoping this would draw me in, too.

I feel they need to add more tiers of chests, at higher prices you get fewer but better items, with the most expensive chests being only 1 high level, but random rarity item,
Say a level 22 or more, but most likely just a common, but with the knowledge that if it is a unique it will be awesome.

@BWEAmelia
And yet he has ever right to point out the issues that are causing problems with the game he spent money on; thank you for offering to help with a refund though. While a break could be used to let Bioware get these issues sorted out, reporting them will go a long way in helping you to monitor these problems more accurately. While I am not a moderator, reporting an issue or suggesting how the current system is flawed and ways to improve it are not a violation of the TOS. Furthermore, there is not a multiplayer subforum for reporting bugs. If you feel that such posts are disruptive then perhaps adding such a forum would be something proactive to solve this issue. While you're at it, you might as well add multiplayer class specific subforums as well (Warrior, Rogue and Mage).
What exactly is he REPORTING? He's pushing his subjective drivel only. there is no REPORTING of a broken function or bug in the OPs post. Its simply HIS feeling that the loot is bad and uninteresting to himself. He'll drag other people to complain when they wouldn't have started a thread like this themselves.
Give him the ban for rebelrousing. The game is a freaking week old, give it time, they are committed to making it worthwhile. And personally I think getting basically **** chests 3 out of 4 makes that 1 good chest amazingly worth it. Of course getting 2 good ones in a row is even better! But you will NEVER appreciate the good loot if you only ever get the good loot.
