I guess we could use this thread for DLCs ideas, expansions and etc.

 

IMPORTANT: *hint hint* I suggest a free DLC or patch for storages at Haven and Skyhold. 

 

I also suggest a story DLC in Kirkwall with returning companions from DA2, as I feel like there are a lot of unfinished business in the Free Marches.

If Hawke is alive, he'd accompany you as a temporary party member. If he isn't it wouldn't change that much of the plot, just give you more insight and conversations with returning companions.

 

Another suggestion would be a story DLC centered in Ferelden where you could meet old companions of the first game and learn more about what happened to some of them. 
 

Last suggestion? Probably something the Citadel DLC from Mass Effect 3, which would involve a lot of returning heads and some crazy reunion just to have good time with people, with some extra badass missions I doubt that would happen, but one can dream. This would work well as an expansion.

I'd like an Awakening sized DLC focused on finding the Hero of Ferelden (You'd find them early on in it) and then traveling with them to do something awesome

Tbh, playing this game and listening to what some of the NPCs say, I get the impression that the people who made it don't like DA2, so can't see anything related to DA2 coming up.

Before they think about getting more of our £££ $$$ with DLC they need to fix the damn bugs with the main game!

 

I feel sorry for people who bought the Delux Edition, they must be totally peeved at the amount of bugs in this game!

Kinda makes me sad, as I cherished DA2's companions and I'm quite curious to hear more about them. Anyways, BubbleDncr's idea is actually something I was thinking about but forgot to mention.

As for dlc ideas, top of my list is a dwarf-focussed expansion. Not enough dwarves in the game and Orzamar was the highlight of Origins for me.

As well as that, or even included in that, I really feel we need a decent city to explore in the game. Val royeaux is a joke. We need some kind of major hub city like Imperial City from Oblivion. I thought Val Royeaux was going to be that...

I'm a bit disappointed that you don't get to meet your main character's families or friends physically. You hear about them through texts but never actually see them. Some add-on could fix that, in-game and add some immersion.

Hawke DLC?

 

I havent finished the game so i dotn know what happens to hawke, but one that has him as a companion in a seperate are (so they dont have to incorperate him into the rest of the game)

 

It can finish up his story (if it hasnt already) and has great replay value, based on the type of hawkes you created

First fix some/all of the problems that people are reporting, hell maybe I would even paid for true tactical cam/HUD for PC like it was in older DA games etc. 

 

P.S. No, please no more DLC's like Citadel for ME3, dumbest DLC ever made (too much fan service I think..)

The first DLC should be a patch for the issues with last generation consoles, The second should be tracking down solas, and the final should be visiting another dwarf city to gain a golem agent

Of course they would be interested. The fans are the ones buying it, and in the end who they are making the game for (I hope)... If a large portion of fans suddenly became really vocal about not wanting, say, a dlc based on Hawke, they aren't going to look at that and say " hey I know, let's make a dlc based on hawke"

Obviously they aren't going of use any specific ideas, but it would be silly not to listen to the feedback.

Of course they would be interested. The fans are the ones buying it, and in the end who they are making the game for (I hope)... If a large portion of fans suddenly became really vocal about not wanting, say, a dlc based on Hawke, they aren't going to look at that and say " hey I know, let's make a dlc based on hawke"

Keep in mind that I haven't completed the game yet and am only about 25% through. But as of now I would suggest the following

 

- Definitely Mod Support

- A DLC that adds attribute points into the game and allows us to customize where they go.

- Mod Support

- Perhaps also some new combat animation variations for mages.

- Mod Support

- The ability to modify your characters appearance during the game like in the Black Emporium in DA2.

- Mod Support

 

Hopefully at least one of those makes it into the game at some point but I definitely hope to see mod support for sure! Otherwise, why make the game on PC when the biggest draw to play it on that platform is the mod community?

Because they already have listened and reacted in the past.

Hero of Ferelden DLC. Either as the Inquisitor or a 'stand-alone' where you play as the Warden trying to cure the calling on his own. If we do play as the Warden, add the missing classes (just for him, not for the main game) and as a throw away, let the old classes into multiplayer. Allow us to re-create our Warden's appearance and get Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale in to do the voice overs for their respective genders. Oh and don't listen to the crybabies who whine 'My Warden wouldn't say that!'.
