The AW does seem like the most powerful character I have seen so far in the game. I would imagine it would be significantly tougher against the other foes though. Vinatori are the easiest faction by quite a bit.

Can you guess which class is going to be nerfed first? ![]()

I sure hope so. I like the super fantastic abyss+fadeblast+melee combo, but it is just too damn OP.

In general, yes, but I'd say that demons are probably the easiest to solo as an AW. They've got the weakest range and the AW sword seems to be particularly effective against them. On top of that, no obnoxious blocking infantry. Boss isn't even that difficult to manage if you're the only person on the map.

All the enemies on threatening are below level 10. Yawn.

killing bosses is kind of pointless because its not like they drop OP items. You can get an OMFG epic dps dagger from a random chest you buy off of the store but farm perilous day and night and get item level 10 blues. so,,,really,,aside form 'hey I can do this solo look at me', is there a point?

To be fair, having heal on kill makes it far too easy. Am I the only one that thinks the items scale way too high in DAMP? Still, congrats on the run.

As far as "Nerfs" go, I'd be sad - my Arcane Warrior is my Baby. That being said, I don't really care all too much if people have an "OP" Character, I can solo Routine, and most of Threatening (All of it if Venatori). It's a co-operative game, and some of the Mobs/Bosses are OP, so, OP Classes are alright in my book.

Really hope they don't nerf any class and if they do nerf classes instead of buff others to keep in line with the "OP" classes i hope they balance it out by buffing other skills in the tree. Also solo'ing Threatening thats meant to challenge LV8 - 16 while being LV19
with probably a high DPS staff see where I'm getting skeptical?

I think it's fadeshield that's the problem, it's so easy to gain barrier to the point that you're immortal. If they just changed it to something like 15% of damage done gives you barrarier rather than 30% it would probably be fine.

My staff does 66 DPS, but It's the Explode on Kill bonus that makes my Arcane Warrior so deadly. 75% weapon damage explosion whenever I kill something, and then I just keep killing.

Honestly, If you're fighting enemies that can block - sometimes It's impossible to gain barrier through Sword, only through other spells. And even then, some enemies can drop my barrier in all but an attack or two when it's first getting started.

AW reminds me of Krobine with Incendiary ammo 4 vs Geth.

Which means enemies are weaker while in solo, much harder when you're 2, even harder when 3 and extra harder when 4. I wouldn't nerf Arcane Warrior based on a solo, it's a biased result.
In a group of 4, Arcane Warrior dies just as easily when hit by 3 archers unless he has full Barrier. As soon as he's the focus of aggro, he melts like ice cream in the desert.
If Bioware decides to nerf him, they need to nerf the Keeper's Barrier, the Elementalist's Firestorm, the Necromancer's Walking Bomb, the Legionnaire's invulnerability, etc.

People like the comparison to ME3, so let me translate the OP to ME3:
'I soloed silver geth on a lvl19 krogan warlord'.
Who on earth would be impressed by that?

I think it's more like "I soloed Geth/silver with Qunari infiltrator with release Sabotage".
