The left to grieve quest which is the one where you have to find the 7 letters of dead soldiers. I'm looking for the one at the western ramparts and couldn't find it. Looked it up and it seems it's a letter on a catapult with something about a drawing to keep the soldier through the night...thing is I remember picking the letter up when I cleared out the ramparts when I first came in the zone. Long shot but are there any fixes for this? Not a crazy big of a deal but some of these letters were a pain to find and now I'm kinda annoyed I spent that time on a quest I can't complete.

Hi - I just picked this one up. It's not a sketch (or not for me, anyway, I don't know if the content depends on the order you pick them up). It's right at the back of one of the huge catapults (a trebuchet? not one of the small bow-like weapons), on a path that leads up from the eastern burning pit. It's next to a loot chest, and a bunch of sandbags if that helps.

Yeah sadly that's the one I picked up prior to the quest sadly. Guess it's bugged.

It's actually pretty hard to find. Walking away from the area you had to burn, keep going until you reach the steps that lead up to the 2 Giant Bow looking things and it's to the left of the stairs on a sack! Enjoy

And yeah, I picked that note up about 1o minutes before getting the quest.
God this game's a piece oa ****, so shoddily put together.

I got the quest after picking some up esp this one. I saved and reloaded. It let me get them all again. Some are by bodies wagons camps but this one was right by the trebuchet. Thanks. Wish the quest had jus updated for me instead of retracking.

Can't complete the quest, because one of the letters is missing. I have searched the area several times and no actual result. Any advice about it?

I've picked up several, usually do get at least 3 or 4 before getting the quest, it's never been a problem, those count too. I would suggest repairing your game  if on PC or, reinstalling on console.

Repairing or reinstalling the game don't affect the problem. I have completed the game two years ago and now I've got the same problem with another story.

Which one are you missing? Is it showing a marker on the map? Sometimes the markers aren't too accurate, or it might be on a different vertical level that requires a bit of wandering.
