Sheesh. Romance is dead. Porn killed it.
Yeah it's a full romance. Just use your imagination. Rather they spent the rest of their days holding hands or your Inquisitor flipped her over and did the horizontal mambo is up to you.

Personally, I always hate it when the two lead characters finally get together in a TV show. I enjoy the build up, but once they seal the deal, the show always loses something.
I feel the same way about romance in BioWare games.
I usually don't do them (outside of unlocking achievements), because it's usually just "gift gift compliment gift gift agree gift gift companion side quest gift gift sex," but if they ever get better than that (and "flirt icon flirt icon flirt icon sex" doesn't cut it, either), then I could see myself valuing the relationship content in these games.
I don't even remotely like any of the options in this game to entertain the thought, though. Josephine isn't a companion, and I feel like being a companion is important for these things to make sense. The courtship already feels forced; at least when you're traveling around with the character all the time, you can assume more bonding is occurring. Cassandra is too religious, specifically that she disapproves of your lack of faith, which is pretty much a show stopper right away. I actually went into this game planning on trying to romance Cassandra to see if romance in this game was any more organic than in the previous installments, but I just can't do it.
It's a shame, too, because she's a stern professional, and I'm the comic-relief outsider with a unique talent brought on to the team to help fight evil. That's like, so many TV shows. The Mentalist, Bones, Castle..it would have been perfect!

Well you spend a lot of time as the Inquisitor with your Ambassadors. It makes about as much sense as a romance with someone in the field.

Josie is a sweet romance, she is one of those naive girls who doesn't really know anything to do with actual relationships. However do you have a sex scene with her? not that I'm aware of, but I think not. Her romance is more gentle and sweet than primal and erotic.
Is it a full romance? Yes. It has content to match the others.
If you're asking if they have sex at the end:
Spoiler
That is the epitome of incomplete IMO... Unless Asexual of course or you are both little prepubescent kids that wouldn't have sex yet.
The other choice (Cass) isn't much better, a deeply religious and PRESSING you on being religious. Did Bioware do this crap on purpose to straight males?
I am an Atheist and I would NEVER be with a woman that is deeply religious. I would never date and be with a Disney ASEXUAL princess like Josephine either.
Where are the normal FN ROMANCES with a proper woman in both looks and behaviour.
DAI only has beautiful environments going for it, the rest is meh. Bad controls on PC, bugs that prevent banter and music. SEVERELY lacking romances at least for straight males.
Combat is based on Attrition instead of cool epic fights (DA2) that made you feel powerful and you had fun.
This isn't a Bioware game unless they break something. They had the perfect formula after two games, Pick the best of DAO and DA2 and then = best DA game ever.
And to clarify, Antiva is the rough equivalent of Italy, to my understanding.
I thought Antiva was based on Spain
Bit of both-- some culture and geography from Italy, specifically Venice (Merchant princes/princesses, one of their cities is straight-up named "Rialto"), but with an accent that's more Spanish than Italian. Laidlaw compared Zevran to Antonio Banderas in a Character Creator stream, which was how I'd always thought of him, and it's hard to get more Spanish than Banderas.
So I guess Antiva's more of a Mediterranean Mashup than anything else. Shame they didn't get some Roman influence in the bargain, but I suppose that all got shunted to Tevinter.

As a fellow straight male atheist I'd like to encourage you to get over yourself.

he has a point though, DA had Morrigan, DA2 had Isabella. Cass and Jose are both... so boring in comparison, ones a religious fanatic and the others a disney princess

He doesn't have a point; he has an opinion. Which he's perfectly entitled to, as we all are. Mine is I don't think they're boring. I also don't think Cassandra is a fanatic. I've consistently expressed non-Andrastian views throughout the game and she and my Inquisitor are the best of pals anyway.
Sucks that this part of the game isn't doing it for you guys, but maybe now ya'll know how a gay dude playing DA:O who wasn't into Zevran might've felt.
This is the first game of BW i'm playing without romancing anyone. Interesting I wonder if this will be a trend or just something that happened in this case.

Well she wasn´t that naive when she went to a sex orgy with Leliana the first night they met. This according to Leliana. So much for the disney princess right? Too bad she plays the coy card with pc. No candy for you.
That's an opinion. I loved Morrigan and I really liked Isabela, and so far I'm very interested in both Cassandra and Josephine.he has a point though, DA had Morrigan, DA2 had Isabella. Cass and Jose are both... so boring in comparison, ones a religious fanatic and the others a disney princess

The Blackwall romance doesn't have an actual sex scene either. I don't know about Cullen or Solas.
(I was fine with a kiss and fade to black, mind you, it just seems like a relevant data point here.)
Also, for whoever bothered to play a bit the game Cassandra clearly isn't a fanatic or a zealot.
Indeed. She's a devout believer, but while she lives her life by those beliefs, she's not fanatical about them, nor is she intolerant of those who don't share her beliefs. And yes, I know, when you say you you don't believe in the Maker, "Cassandra disapproves" pops up. Big deal. A bit of disapproval is ahrdly the end of the world, and it sure as hell doesn't mark her out as an intolerant zealot. Would she prefer you shared her beliefs? Of course. Does she hate you for not doing so? No. In fact, that she's willing to work with you - and even follow you - when you don't share her beliefs and worldview marks her out as a surpsingly tolerant person.
*sigh* And yet again, despite being an atheist, when it comes to discussions regarding religion on the internet, I've ended up on the side of the religious people. It really does amaze me how many of my fellow unbelievers are so intolerant of anyone who dares to believe...
It wasn't an orgy. You can interpret it how You Want, but Sheryl Chee Already said they never had sex, and that event wasn't an orgy, so you're wrong.
Riiiight, every time I have a birthday party someones undies end up in the wall. It is not an orgy, honestly. ![]()

Usually I just watch the flamewar develop and throw a comment here and there just to make things more interesting:
For all any of us know, they're like rabbits off screen. There is a difference between something happening and the player getting to watch it happen. A gentleman doesn't say.

Apparently Allan saw it worth while to defend the chaste princess so I have no other option but to refrain from commenting on it anymore. ![]()

How is Cass a religious fanatic?
I'd agree STD Isabella is pretty interesting. Morrigan is not boring how? Cos she always acts like she knows something that you dont?
