Apparently Allan saw it worth while to defend the chaste princess so I have no other option but to refrain from commenting on it anymore.  :P

It's Not his fault if your theory was already proven wrong by the writers.

Bah, as any true fan knows, Headcanon > Word of God.

You don't even need to take the writers word for it. You can specifically ask Josephine in-game if she was ever in an intimate relationship with Leliana.

. Morrigan is not boring how? Cos she always acts like she knows something that you dont?

Cant speak for anyone else, but i find that trait really attractive.

There's no irony. The writer of Josephine said she left to the players to decide if the pc and Josephine had sex.

Nice! I heard there are two romances where we don't need to have sex with LI for relationship progress. So, it's Josephine, and who else? Someone knows?

That is the epitome of incomplete IMO... Unless Asexual of course or you are both little prepubescent kids that wouldn't have sex yet.

The other choice (Cass) isn't much better, a deeply religious and PRESSING you on being religious. Did Bioware do this crap on purpose to straight males?

I am an Atheist and I would NEVER be with a woman that is deeply religious. I would never date and be with a Disney ASEXUAL princess like Josephine either.

Where are the normal FN ROMANCES with a proper woman in both looks and behaviour.

DAI only has beautiful environments going for it, the rest is meh. Bad controls on PC, bugs that prevent banter and music. SEVERELY lacking romances at least for straight males.

Combat is based on Attrition instead of cool epic fights (DA2) that made you feel powerful and you had fun.

This isn't a Bioware game unless they break something. They had the perfect formula after two games, Pick the best of DAO and DA2 and then = best DA game ever.

That's because your conception of a ''proper woman'' (lol) is boring, reductive, and done to death. I'm glad Bioware is branching out and offering varied and complex characters instead of your traditional Blushing virgin option 1 and Femme fatale option 2.

While I do not and have never cared much for Bioware using their games as dating sims, the writers didn't handle her the right way in my opinion. I think she would of been a lot better if she was reserved, polite and proper in her dealings with others...only when in private and with her boyfriend/husband/girlfriend/wife she showed her other side and got to break free and let loose from that perception/shackles of her job/expectations and was kinky/non-reserved and passionate behind closed doors with her lover.

As such she would of been a much more interesting character. She is in a position where she is expected to be right and proper in her dealings and to me this would of been good opportunity to give her more depth than the generic shy/reserved LI by showing she is more than just what is expected of her by her colleagues and acquaintances in that world, Bioware did not put much effort into this as they could have done and as a character she lacks depth and interest due to the writers lack of foresight.

Also I find it unbalanced that some LI's are restricted in some having such scenes and others not given you only have so very few options for any specific gender/race or sexual orientation and because of Bioware doing what they have done some people might rightly feel like they are being given poor options compared to others due to that imbalance, if every sexual orientation of PC had one LI with sexual scenes and one with out then would be more balanced but that is not the case. So I can understand why some people might feel jaded/annoyed by this aspect of the game even if does not mean as much to me.

One other thing will add is people using "use your imagination" shouldn't be doing so as an excuse because it is a cop out. Same reason why there is an actual ending to the game and not left at a point where nothing is resolved forcing you to use your imagination to imagine the endings (ME3 showed people in general do not like such even if does not bother me as much as them). A relationship is a journey just like walking from A to B or reaching the conclusion of a story. Why should some players be forced to use their imagination while others are not being forced to do so, that is unbalanced and could be perceived as slightly insulting.

Even if you try taking the excuse of leave it to the imagination you need to realize they would of had sex at some point in the future unless the relationship did not work out (which would be a bad thing to do since purposefully led someone down a dead end), as such why was it not put in game when others are since it will happen even if not shown on screen...in which case either have no LI's or all LI's have such scenes (even one with and one without for each sexual orientation would of been better than what we got) because otherwise all you really have is some players getting more of a conclusion and content relating to their LI's compared to other players.

My suggestion to Bioware is rectify this later contained as a part of a larger non-LI story focused DLC which just expands on all characters and relationships within that story arc that happens to include giving this character a more satisfactory conclusion for those who picked her along with expanding the content for all LI's in order to keep it balanced which currently it is not.

Does anyone know which female companions will engage in a relationship with a female Inquisitor?  I thought I had read that only Sera and Josephine will.

hmmm ok I'm getting confused after reading all posts (sort of), so let me be straight (lol, no pun intended): there is a sex scene with Josephine or not?

Full romance is subjective. It is no more a full romance than not being a full romance. It depends on each person, there is romance same as holding hands can be romantic, kissing can be romantic, buying someone flowers can be romantic and having sex can be romantic but there is no definitive "full romance" only individual peoples subjective perceptions of what constitutes "full". Because of this all Bioware can do is to make it balanced across the range of LI's, but it is not balanced and that is why some people are quite valid in criticizing this aspect.

Sorry to break the news to you, Josephine is pretty much considered by many to be the shy, reserved, blushing virgin stereotype you praise Bioware for not making regardless of whether Bioware originally intended her to be so or not.

...anyways I have finished eating my dinner, filled my time in this thread and off back to work. :D

I went with Josephine and once I finished her romance I was so livid that I stopped playing and didn't come back for about a day. There are Nuns, Priests, and overprotective parents less pruidish than Josephine.

I want a free Extended Cut Josephine Romance DLC!
