I've never once used the ME CC system, because I preferred to use the default Shepherd. I keep hearing these complaints about it, but have no experience of it. :P

What gets me the most is that there are less hair options in DAI than in DAO and DA2. I can't even begin to conceive how that's possible. For a game that's so damned good in other respects, this hair disaster is a serious curveball.

You should try it some time so you can ogle at its 'glory'.

Yeah, I didn't bother either. ME CC sucks too.

And I wouldn't be surprised if the same people involved did the CC for DAI too. It's got the same weird blockhead type of appearances for males. It's hard to deviate from it, since the skull shapes lock you into it.

It's ****** sad when most of the male humans can only look like the retarded space marines from an ID game.

And if you try to compensate with different hair, it either has clipping issues or looks like it belongs on some grandma.

I bet its the same ME group to. I saw someone post a picture of their male elf smiling, and it looked like a certain infamous smile...

God. I wish I could just yell at someone over there. lol.

Or something that could help.

I actually have one way of creating a decent face.. takes some time and I use a different skull shape.

But it doesn't matter! Because the hair options are complete f***ing crap anyways.

Hell, even the shaved heads suck. They all have maturing hairlines. If want to be balding, I'll pick it. Don't force it.

Yeah, its hard without having our modding community. The whole point for me in getting the pc versions of games is for the modding community. Usually modders provide the small things we players like, like new hairs or little combat tweaks. Thanks to frostbite, we don't have that anymore. Now all we can do is hope Bioware will fix things.

If they already overlooked it this far into the process, then there's little hope.

Because almost ANYONE with an eye for facial aesthetics - even the most amateur artist - would have cared *just a little* and spotted the problems right away. The fact that they let it slide to this point shows how oblivious they are. And will remain. Or if they do notice it, then they simply decided we're not worth their time or money to invest in.

If that happens, I doubt I'll be interested by the time it comes out. It could be months. Or even a year.

When I hate my own character's looks, it just kills any longterm interest in the game. I don't feel like the world is full of "possibilities" the way a good longterm game does. I feel limited and stifled, and I'm just going to get through one playthrough and try to enjoy it for the other aspects that I like. But I don't think I'll get invested in another character again.

If they wanted to patch it in soon, for free, then sure. I wouldn't mind that at all.
