Last thing i want is even more returning characters i don't need meet same characters every damn game.I don't see reason why he should be in game.He had closure as every character that story is over and they are alive.

That is a lame excuse if I have ever seen one.  It is part of the lore of the game.

To be fair, only Anders knows Oghren, of all the characters in DA2. So there really wasn't any need to involve anything about the fellow in that game.

Ha! that's rich cause Anders made a comment that he once knew a dwarf from the Legion of the Dead named Sigrun only and that was it.

It wouldn't be the same without his voice actor Steve Blum.

I hope Ohgren comes back as Tevinter's Commander of the Grey... Or something.

Perhaps the HoF asked the oghren for help with the quest. I think that Oghren certainly would join in a heartbeat.

"When do we leave" ( burp)

Sigrun and Velanna weren't in the Keep either.

Velanna's story with her sister, Serani, and the Architect just went *poof!*

I've never been a fan of Oghren. He offered nothing to the Warden, or anybody really, except this obnoxious dwarf stereotype. Awakening absolutely butchered his character even further. His "relationship" deal was shallow as well. Even Sten had more depth than him. >_>

He sure loved that pony though.

I think all the living wardens from Awakening should have been at Adamant, even if just as a small cameo. They were all likely affected by the Calling after all.

Who could play the game and not have Oghren as a favorite companion?

...He was the Chuck Norris of the Bunch.

Me. I couldn't stand him. To me he came across as a obnoxious drunk. Of all my playthroughs of DA:O he probably left the camp the least. I never saw him as a Chuck Norris type, I saw him as someone who probably could drink everyone else under the table but other than that was a lot more bark than bite.

If you liked him that's great, but not everyone feels the same way.

It is realism i don't need to hear about previous characters on every step he is universaly insignificant as random guard or magister in tevinter that i never heard about.

Maybe he got cirrhosis of the liver and had to take his Calling early.

I've got no real problem with Oghren, but when he speaks, his voice makes my throat itch. It's when he gets heartfelt and serious that I actually like him the most. When he's being funny, I like him a lot less. Awakening laid it on thick to the point where it started to become active dislike, and while I still considered him a respectable enough character to be my Warden-Commander's second in command, given their history together, but I never want to hear anything like shleets ever again. Sten was easily the better companion in DA:O than he was, in my opinion.

To all those who thought Oghren is not likable and thought he was a obnoxious drunk. Well to be honest i never did like Varric either and i don't see what was so great about him that he had to be brought back for Dragon Age 3 game. Everytime i saw him, i wanted to shove that crossbow up his fat ass cause I couldn't stand him.

As i said Oghren is so underrated that he deserves better then no reference at all. I mean Steve Blum loved kicking lots of ass and getting stone cold drunk when he played that role. How could anyone not like this guy? Oghren helped stop the archdeamon, he even helped stop a hurlock broodmother who was subjected to an awakening by The Architect.

Even so Varric can`t use melee weapons and Oghren can use ranged and melee weapons which is why Oghren is way Better. And all we got was a lousy painting of Oghren's concept art which can be seen near the bar at the Hanged Man in DA2 and not even a sodding reference to his entire existence. I mean he helped The Warden stop the Blight for maker's sake.

OK, you like Oghren and can't stand Verric, while I like Verric and can't stand Oghren. Which of us is correct? Both of us! Did Sten even get a lousy painting? I'd rather hear about what happened with him.

Maybe Oghren helped you defeat the archdemon and stop the broodmother. He didn't do much to help me with either because when I had a choice he was almost always left behind.

I don't care, why bother making the Keep then if it so say to fans "Flock off!" in the end.

I would've prefered cameos side quests rather than some big empties farming/grinding areas that serve for nothing just to consume our time.

the book isn't canon, though. But even if it was, Cole should have mentioned both her and Shale.

Eh, Rhys, Evangeline, the White Spire and Cole (well obviously Cole) are all mentioned. Cole's presence alone, with mentions of others, make it pretty clear the book's part of the lore, even if they're handwaving worlds where she might be dead and the book's events are all messed up. I doubt we'll see Wynne again.

Oghren had a gender and race change and is now called Sera. She pretty much sums up Oghren in Inquisition.

I was JUST going to say they already have someone to make fart jokes and that's Sera. I'm glad I read all the way through. LOL

I liked Oghren too. My favorite scene of him is at the beginning of Awakening when you burst into the room where he's fighting darkspawn, then he turns and gives you a cheery wave and a cheesy grin before turning around to finish his fight. Who knows? Maybe we'll see him again.
