I've noticed that other players often run faster than me. Is it lag? Or is there a move faster button I'm not aware of,

Need to tell the legionnaire to lose some weight...

I didn't specify, but yeah, this was with the Legionnaire. Is it a Dwarf thing, or just the Legionnaire?

Are you playing on PC with Xbox 360 controller?
If yes,I cannot sprint, too.
I guess that is some bug or am I completely inept. And yes I am pressing left thumbstick.Hard ![]()

It's a toggle, meaning you only need to hit the button once, and you will sprint until you stop moving or interrupt it. As far as this button not working, I don't know, can only say I haven't had these issues myself, my sprint key works fine.

Are you talking about LShift button or?

Yes. I'm not sure how the default button config works for a 360 controller on the PC, but you might take a look at the controls config to see if it's bound to a different button. I've heard that for consoles it's the left stick, but that doesn't mean that's what the default layout for a controller on PC is.

On PC sprint is left shift. On console you click the left thumbstick. You should notice a slight lean animation blend on your character when they've gone into sprint.

Thank you for reply.
I played at first with K+M and lean animation while sprinting is quiet visible and speed difference is noticeable.
But,with controller sprint is not possible.I am pretty sure that some bug must be involved and closer look from the devs would be greatly appreciated.

I think she meant click the stick once not push it forward to sprint

The Hunter does not seem to be able to run.

Can confirm hunter runs on PS4. In fact, most of the time his running after animations leaves him stuck looking to the left because he didnt finish his animation for grabbing his bow from his back.

This happens to all classes, not that often to warriors though. It's just a lot more jarring on hunter and archer.

Who's dumb enough to walk in this game?
Why the only purpose of having a sprint key is to lose your movement speed because you raised someone, got an urn, opened a door, etc.?
Sprint is fine in SP, it's freaking dumb in MP.

Yeah gotta agree with the thirdrace here. I mean if the sprint in this game was similar to mass effect3's sure I can understand differentiating between normal and sprint. But in DAMP, the difference is so subtle, I'm not sure I understand why there's even a reason for a sprint key to exist at all. What's the downside of just permanently implementing normal running as what is currently called "sprinting" Now if DAMP's sprinting even remotely resembled ME3's MP I could understand, but to be honest, the fact that the is a 'sprint' key at all seems completely and utterly pointless, considering how tedious 'sprinting' feels taking into consideration how tediously underwhelming it feels to press the sprint button and watch your character run what feels like a whopping 2% faster than it was at normal.

Why is there a sprint in the first place?
Sprint is fine in SP, it's freaking dumb in MP.
I'm going one further, and saying a sprint button is dumb.
We have analogue controllers. Analogue.
What should happen is i push the stick a little bit, and i walk slowly. I push a bit more, i walk. I push all the way i sprint.
Why is a sprint button even a thing?! ![]()
+1 for Tron trails though...
