I've been trying to make a decent looking Qunari Female for hours and I have had no success. Every one of them looks like crap outside CC. I'm not trying to make a super model or something I just want something that isn't some hideous wreck to look at.
Has anyone made a decent looking Qunari Female?

I'm rather happy with the way mine turned out.

I only wish I could go back and redo the eye shadow, because it looked like there was much less of it in the CC screen. >.>

Here's my Trisana Adaar. I used Head One and just tweaked with the cheekbones, nose and eyes.

Agreed, Fem Qunari are difficult to get right. So far I've re-started my character six (maybe seven?) times now... Finally settled on something I'm happy with, but it took me a lot of playing round and honing things down.
Here's a link to the main iteration of my character... Currently... With a couple extras.
EDIT: Spelling.

I don't know, there is just something wrong with the qunari is this game. They seem to come out baby faced. I liked how they were in DA2 where they looked like alien monsters almost. Your guys' faces are all nice but there is still that quality about them I cannot place that seems to be there for all Qunari, other than baby face.

From your post, I think you're trying to say they look too human in comparison to the last game. I can see their uniqueness with the horns, skin tone and build, but their faces look much more human than they did in the last game.
Edit: And to a degree, more human than the comics as well. Even among the female PCs.

Which is what throws them off in my mind I think. You have these horns, skins tones, even some of the complexions aim at making their features sharper but then you get these human looking features that go with it and that kinda makes a bad mix for me.

I find myself imagining that this is what they've always looked like and that their appearance in DA2 is a byproduct of having Varric as the narrator. It would also explain why Sten looked relatively normal in DAO as well.
Still prefer DA2's version though. Say whatever else you want about that game, it did a great job of making the races look distinct. I get the feeling that the real reason that they made the Qunari look more human again is because of the romance factor.

Oh please please please give us the sliders to recreate her! Probably the best Qunari Female I've seen!

I tried something a LITTLE different with mine, since I was frustrated by the dollface/babyface a lot of female Qunari have as well.
She still looks pretty human, but:

Best caps I have, since I haven't played her at length yet.

You might be right about Varric as narrator because if you pay attention before you make your hawke when you're playing his exaggerated version of Hawke, Bethany has bigger boobs, lol. I think their rationale for Sten was he was a genetic abnormality. Still, I prefer DA2 Qunari. They looked really good.

I would, but is it even possible to do that after I'm long into the game? Not sure I could recreate her for reference, but I could try I guess. :S

Qunari sadly look really .. Not great in this game, everything seems skimped out on, I hope they provide updates to make them something that don't seem so embarrassing. Lack of hair, armor, and then faces that really just look human but with horns on it which just look so off. Well I've complained about this plenty already in the feedback forum but im glad to see it's something pretty much everyone agree on and hopefully that means Bioware does something about it

I made this female qunari archer. I'll likely never actually use her, but I think she turned out pretty good. I opted not to give her horns because I wanted to have a hornless qunari (a la Sten) and my male qunari warrior has horns. I think the hornless qunari, like Sten, really do just look like metallic skinned humans with elf ears and this gal is no different. But I think she looks good regardless.

I'm quite fond of mine!
I definitely would have liked more hairstyle options, but in the end I couldn't let that stop me playing a qunari. In terms of non-hair customization options, I think everything is fine.

Oooh, I like yours BaroqueOut
Especially the dark skin look.
It's not easy making a Qunari in general, but at least yours looks great compared to my very 'human' looking one. Anyway, keep these Qunari shots coming guys, I still think they're great attempts.

Some won't like the way I state this, but it's the male Qunari who look stupid and clownish. There isn't much to complain about with females.
Not much to complain about females of all races, in fact. Someone took the old description "the fairer sex" a bit too seriously, and made them all easier to work with. It's a struggle for males. Unless you're a dwarf. They're already funny by default.

I can agree with you there. It took some work for my male elf and qunari. Although, my qunari male wasn't nearly as hard to edit to my liking as the female. There was just no good qunari female base to go off of (my opinion, of course.).
I'm also kinda sad. I met up with Iron Bull with my Qunari mage, and there was hardly any chat between us about mages and the Qun. Plenty about Tal'Vashoth. But not the fact that I'm a Qunari mage. ![]()

I posted her in another thread too, but I think she's not ugly in particular and maybe even kind of "handsome".

^Yeah, she looks cool. Almost like... Jada Pinkett. Qunari version.
I don't know. Maybe it's the eyes. Reminds me of her.
