Well I was worried I won't be able to make a decent looking female Qunari before the game launched... But I managed to create my Atashi Adaar at a first try and I'm very happy with how she looks like

I, for one, would greatly appreciate this. That is one of the best Qunari females I have seen to date.....and I cannot recreate it.
I went with a design that's fairly similar to the preset, but customized with heavy white eyebrows (they have white hair in the tarot cards, it seemed appropriate) and narrower eyes for a more serious look as befits the Qunari theme. It meshes quite well with some of the face paint designs, I think:

^^This one. Maybe it's the lighting, but she looks amazing. When you say "preset", which one, and which face shape, if you recall? Gimme a starting point, at least. Pretty please. 
While I don't think that my gunari warrior Sirid Adaar is exactly "pretty", I do like her face and think that she is rather believable battleworn mercenary.
I seem to be so far only one go for "broken horns"- look, which is a bit shame, I think. And since I like to think her having long hair, hairbun-style is necessary.

I have her posted in the Inquisitor thread too, but I think my fem qunari came out quite well. I used the 1st preset head and then tweaked the cheekbones and forehead a lot. Eye, nose and mouth shape are different from the preset as well.

Those are the vitaars. They act as 'helmets' for qunari. You find them in random drops and can buy them in shops. Don't think you can craft them, though.

If I recall correctly, this is Preset 1, Face Shape 2. Complexion, Horns, Hair Color all the way to the left. Skin Tone all the way to the right. Eye Shape 4, Eyebrow Style 5, and Eyelash Color fairly dark to blends in with the skin tone. Remove Eye Shadow and Blush -- the Qunari Vitaar are basically functional replacements for makeup anyway.
Tl;dr the answer is "yes?"
I like mine alot. That damn blush bugs me sometimes tho... it looks straight up whoremode in some lighting.

My female Qunari looked good enough in CC but in the game she turned to be completely awful... Thankfully I can use vitaars to hide her face, so I can look at her without pain in my eyes.
I'd say Didem looks all right.
Here is my female Adaar Qunari Mage...now that i've been playing her I had a chance to get some more screenshots!
Current Look : btw the facepaint is look of her current Vitaar that she can equip.
I think my female Qunari mage is more than decent I wanted her to look tough and delicate at the same time. I think she fits in really well with the other characters!
