N1mh's fantastic Qunari is the basis for mine - I struggled for a long long time before they were kind enough to share the sliders and I've been REALLY enjoying my mage playthrough now with all the interesting changes playing a Qunari brings conversationally (and romantically with Sera haha)

 

Also - dat facepaint. Wish Bioware had flagged it to disappear during certain scenes >.>

I'd like to think mine is pretty good. *I* really like her. Note that photo quality is variable due to playing on a PS3 and taking them with my phone.

But yeah, I really -really- like playing as a qunari. Even with the limited CC options, even with the armor appearance bugs. My towering and eloquent female qunari mage is an intimidating whirlwind of intelligent wordplay and raw magical power.

I've had headcanon for my girl Thorn for awhile now. I'm really happy to finally create her in-game. Aside from some awkward boob shots, they did really well with the aiming the camera for her.

As you can see, she looks very different in-game and in Character stats screen . My aim was to create older and wiser qunari but I didn't figure out how to remove the lip pouting and scars weren't visible after update . Now I figured DA:I imported some default storyline instead of my DAO/DA2 import, so another redoing is on its way .

 

I wish BW would come up with face code and/or editing backstory in-game. It's still cool there is an option to play as a female Qunari, though.

This is my lady qunari. I am fairly happy with her, though not exactly how I envisioned her. She looks pretty young but I have her head-cannoned around mid 20's--my youngest Inquisitor. 

 

 

Is it possible for a qunari and a human to have kids? Cos she definitely looks like one of her parents were human, preferable the father cos them horns!

I was really happy about the fact, that DA:I offered the chance to play as a qunari female. I think the qunari are a fascinating race and after the release of DA 2 i thought a lot  about the possible looks of qunari fems (because there were just males). I believe in a complex and interessting culture for qunari females - and their looks. I liked the creative and (for me) realistic fanarts and concept art scribbles on the internet and hoped, that there would be some nice options in the cc...nya, it was ok, but it felt limited. In the creation process of Zula i asked me a lot "Why do she has to look like a viking brute again? Are shaved hair and middle partings the only way? No pony tails? No braids? No decent bangs? Is it her job to chase all people away, that see her? Because my qunari is a quite gentle person, full humour and a positive view of life i wanted to show her character on the outside, too. I struggled a bit with the sliders. I went with a bald look in the end. And i thought: "Ok, now she looks ok. Not perfect, but gentler and more open." I already loaded up my Qunari Mage Zula at the "Show your inquisitor"-Thread, but i'll do it here, too. I don't know if you can call her decent, but i think she has something .

Not bad for an entire species dedicated to the concept of "fugly" yeah? Male qunari look especially deformed, but at least their women can come out looking kinda human = good looking:

I remade my Asaara Adaar. And I'm pleased with the results... probably the one and only time I will ever play a Qunari. It's a hassle to get one that is physically attractive to me   And even now, there just seems something... off about her face. But I'm not willing to go through the Qunari CC again to do a small tweak somewhere
