Of course not everyone likes Qunari or female Quanri, but I for myself am not a big fan of the elves in this game, but to call them terrible???

So I restarted my Qunari as I couldn't get over the tiny head. I gave her horns this time and stretched out her ears more to make it look like she has a bigger head than she actually does. It helped a lot, I can actually play her now.

Seriously, I love looking through this thread. Everyone's qunari looks fantastic and yet still unique. I love seeing how much variation you can get with the sliders!

I just finished the game with Freja Adaar, and in retrospect, I think she's the best looking character I've ever made (maybe because I usually just end up creating an uncanny valley version of myself). I don't know if she qualifies as "decent looking" by the OP's standards, but I managed to hit all the goals I had in mind when I started, which were to give her:

 

1) the same kind of harsh/severe/intimidating/badass features you see in male Qunari (flared nostrils, jowly cheeks, basically Sten's classic "NO" face)

 

2) realistic, or at least not cartoonishly exaggerated, facial proportions (having dramatically failed at this with my first few tries)

 

3) the kind of slightly weathered/rugged features of someone who's had a rough life - she's a mercenary from a lower-class Vashoth background, after all, rather than a pampered human noble

 

4) enough good looks to still plausibly be "well fit" and whatnot to the various romantic interests, albeit more in a "striking" than "modelesque" kind of way

I actually really like the FemQunari I've seen. I think it's much harder to make a decent male one. Or a non pixie elf.
