So, while banners in customizing Skyhold are supposedly unlocked by default all of mine just show a themed pole until i am rewarded/find them myself in the world. Is this the same for everyone?

 

Also, if anyone could point me to the Dalish banner that'd be really awesome of you. I've found the banner top but it's still just a pole. Saw the banners in a zone and my Dalish Inquisitor would much appreciate them for her own castle as well. Also, also would like to add I'm really sad there's no Dalish decor for Skyhold as I swear I saw that shown off before.

There are a number of Dalish items you can buy at the furniture vendor in Val Royeaux, though I'm not sure off the top of my head exactly what they are.  I know that there are no Dalish beds, though.

That made me sad. It's just a couple of drapes and windows if I remember right.

What I'm more frustrated by rather than beds, is that so far I haven't found or unlocked any Dalish/Elf "Decor", which is probably the most significant cosmetic upgrade you can get for Skyhold because it changes everything from the carpets, to the statues, tables, chairs, etc all around.

Apparently you have to find the covering out in the world. I found the Dalish banner around the fort you fight the chevalier. I believe its easier to find if you do the Noble Fairbanks quest

Windows, beds, and drapes, yes. Which I know because I've bought out the whole store.  Not decor - which I have no bloody idea where to find!

Just checked the Prima guide - the Dalish banner should come with skyhold, but the topper isn't available until the exalted plains.  I'm just getting there now, so I'll look out for it.  Possibly at a merchant as other merchandise.
