Nevermind.. I figured it out.... too much turkey today, I guess :)

How do you give the PC a discount at a store, through conversation?

I cannot figure out if the nMarkDown on a conversation action "ga_open_store" does not work, or I just don't understand it.

Here's the test I did.

I made a store that sells greatswords, (100gp by default).

In the Store's properties, I put price pct for buying at 100, and price pct for selling at 100.

I made a conversation with 3 lines, 10%, 20% and 30%

If I put 10, 20 and 30 respectively in the nMarkUp box, that works fine. Greatsword for 111, 121 and 131. (Not sure why default price is 101 when greatsword is 100 gp, and store says 100% selling price, but whatever. )

I then zero the nMarkUp values all back to zero, and put -10, -20 and -30 respectively in the nMarkDown boxes.

Go in to the game, and it sells it at 101 for each, no change.

For third test, I used positive integer in the nMarkDown, and this also had no effect, greatsword sold for 101 each time.

Am I using this "ga_open_store" call incorrectly?

EDIT: it's me not using the call correctly... duh. I need to put the negative number in the nMarkUp  then the prices are reduced as expected.

nMarkDown is for prices paid by vendor to the PC
