Reading through the banter glitch thread, I happened to discover that my game does not load music in certain areas. Apparently Val Royaux has this incredible background music during gameplay:

I don't really have the dialogue problem, I don't think, but I haven't heard music like this in the gameplay.

I only ever heard this in the intro cinematic to that region and have yet to hear it in game. The user who posted this to me is also missing the music for saves after a certain point in the game. Unfortunately, this is different for me, but we both have missing music in this area.

Otherwise the game is amazing, but I would love to be hearing more music if that's how the game was intended to be played. If anyone else can share their experiences we can try and find a solution.

Original Post:

Here's a badly recorded sample.

Shadowplay doesn't play well with DAI, hence the stuttering.

This is from a savegame before the Winter Palace.

EDIT: that is to say, any savegames with this character after the Winter Palace don't play music in VR or Skyhold.

Ive never had that music play for me while visiting VR.

Also, is there music supposed to play in Skyhold? The only time I get music to play is when I enter the War Room or sit at judgment. Aside from that? Nothing.

It looks like we might be overextending the diagnosis with music.

It may be related to the dialogue problem, but the game *is* meant to have an ebbing soundtrack, so we definitely have no certain clue. I may have gotten that musical theme in Val Royeaux, but that was before I knew there was a bug, so I simply don't remember.

The soundtrack has never explicitly cut itself off, and some of the sound effects that are meant to be heard are subtle (a Dragon's far-off roar).

Yeah I don't get the banter glitch I don't think. So I made a new thread.
