I checked his dragon hunting video on twitch.. He 's so clueless sometime. Defeat the dragon on casual thinking it was set to hard lol.

I don't agree with the good animation. Compared to what ? To Origins ? To GTA V ?

He did not talk talk much about the main story, but he spoiled a lot of romance scene. Sight...

He said how superior the companion are to Origins outside of Morrigan. I completely disagree. The cast in Origin was stronger. For Origin  was less ''high fantasy''. The companion had a  more grounded background. They felt more realistic too me. Sten was more like a stranger in a new place rather than some kind of half-breed dragon.

My gripe after finishing Inquisition was the direction they took with the fantastic aspect of the game.Origin was so great because it still remained grounded in realism and yet surrounded by fantasy. Now you see red templar everywhere walking in the wild with lyrium sprouting from their orifice. It just a little bit too much.

In regards to multiplayer was anyone honestly expecting any different? I mean we all knew that there was going to be a multiplayer mode long before it was announced simply because of how big a money maker ME3's multiplayer was for EA which was all due entirely to the microtransactions, it is why instead of allowing us to customize our own character for multiplayer we are forced to select from a bunch of pre-defined characters, they want to purchase character unlocks and dlc character packs (you can bet your arse that this is the reason Fable Legends is going with the same system as well) as well as timesaver and gear packs to make the grind less bearable.

Oh well at least it has no effect on single player this time.

Im surprised that he left out the side quest part. That is usually the consensus of fans feeling tedious

He left out a lot of things as well as misrepresenting a lot of other things but what can you expect? It is Angry Joe and the only reason he stays popular is because he tells his fans what they want to hear, his fans had mostly already decided that Inquisition would be the best game ever and to tell them otherwise would only result in a bunch of death threats, it is why he waited so long before giving a review as he had to see what most of his fans were saying so he could take their opinion and make it look like his own.

Its 7/10 to you , as in that is your opinion nothing more , you talk as if there is a right or wrong here , i think this game deserves a 9 but i wont tell someone who thinks its a 5 they are wrong.

Angry Je is clearly lacking the knowledge and experience of pc rpg gamer, just like when he rated Last of US 10/10 showed that he didn't played any Uncharted games. Because when he know a lot about what he is talking about like the FPS he never give the games 10/10 since he know the flaws of the genre pretty well.

My point is the game on PC can't be rated so highly not with all the step backs it has from the previous games.

Like for examples : the controls, the tactical system, the content being filled 80% by mmorpg quests and the bugs.

If you played previous games on PC, you just can't say AMEN to this new DA:I.

Otherwise, it's loving blindlessly the game and this doesn't help dev to improve and encourage them instead to want to milk money from us.

Joe clearly here is not familiar with the rpg genre and I don't blame him but you can't go say shut up to people who disagree with him.

Just use a controller for the PC version because the KB & M is design for the multiplayer which EA wants to cash grap from all the saps.

Soon? Allan Schumacher mentioned that he is testing changes to the controls. Could be in the upcoming patch.

The game is perfectly playable with mouse and keyboard. Controls are very much like in many MMORPGs. Much better than the atrocious controls in Star Trek Online.

Watch it on YT. There is more hilarious dialog.

What is it with this stupid number-fetish? It's just so freaking idiotic to see people discuss: "It's a 9!", "It's a 7!"

It's a ****** number! Numerals don't represent specific feelings you felt through gameplay, they are a stupid representation of a consumers guide, that would be vastly superior, if the reviewer actually decided to express themselves with some litteary skill, instead of the usual garbage of: The quests were interesting... The quests were boring!"

The score is even more screwed by gamers tendency to hyperbole and a non-existent consensus on what each number represents: You have gamers calling 7/10 average, 4/10 as horrible, while others claim the former to be good and the latter just below average. Not to mention that some believe a game starts at 10/10 and then gets lower for each flaw, rather than signifying a game that does something, there's out of it's league compared to other games.

Do you guys even realize that the guy you're discussing a freaking number with, actually has no idea what you mean, when you say 7/10? Because his 7/10 could be vastly different to yours.

I am very glad that Joe pointed out how obscenely monetized multiplayer is---but who knows? The singleplayer, unlike Mass Effect 3, does not seem dragged down by multiplayer devs this time. Maybe that things nets BioWare subsequently lotta money and we get a few great DLCs like Origins?

But yes, the series is quite back to top form.

Was never going to touch it with a ten foot pole, but I never imagined it was THAT bad. Holy **** EA, what the hell were you thinking?

I am enjoying the multiplayer and I have yet to buy any Platinum.

There are no play gates insisting on Platinum and as I see it, there is a greater success in game to be gained by level increases and learning how to play than a few percentage points gained from higher level weapon/armour stats.

I enjoyed Joe's review and agree with most of it.

But I think the Platinum store put him off and so I found his review of multiplayer was not in depth and misses its pleasures.

Joe's comment that the multiplayer messed up is plain wrong in my opinion.

In summary Joe's review scores:

  • DAO - 9/10
  • DA2  - 7/10
  • DAI   - 9/10

Are spot on.

Only three maps so far is a bit tedious, but the game play is fun and you certainly don't need to buy anything.  You get gold and xp quite quickly.  I gained 6 levels in five matches.  My friend, who plays it a lot more than I do, crafted the unlock for her prefered character and is already lvl 17.  No cash spent by either of us.

yea, because you don't agree with him it's a massive conspiracy and his opinions are completely and utterly false, you have libelled him like this again and again, an every time fail utterly to back up your claims.  You can be honest: How much are Ubisoft paying you for this?  I mean you cannot honestly believe what you say so their has to be a reason for it

Or does that rule only apply to AngryJoe?

Indeed. You can go to options and tweak your buttons to what suits you better. I'd say DAI controls were easier than da2 and the awful dao.

pretty good review, I mostly agree with him.

I would give it an 8/10 and that's with me currently playing on console. I was gonna get it on PC when I got my rig sorted but I don't know if I will bother now, maybe if they patch it.  :P

DA2 would be 7/10 for me and Origins would be 10/10, using the logic that no game is perfect so 10 is just for a really really good game.
