arcane warrior solo Demon Commander Threatening was not ez :(

bioware dont nerf arcane warrior it is fine used some pots shity underground i think it is world first  ez i dont see any videos around killing him prove me wrong :) just wanted to establish dominance on this difficulty

You realize that enemies scale with the number of teammates you have?

 

Which means enemies are weaker while in solo, much harder when you're 2, even harder when 3 and extra harder when 4. I wouldn't nerf Arcane Warrior based on a solo, it's a biased result. Furthermore, I haven't seen an Arcane Warrior being able to withstand any wave 5 alone with 1 ally dead. So I hope Bioware can see their own balance for what it is before blindly nerfing the AW. If they do decide to nerf AW, they need to nerf the Keeper's Barrier, the Elementalist's Firestorm, the ...

Um...I did pretty much an entire threatening wave 5 with all 3 of my teammates dead so yah, it's definitely possible to do. But honestly, I've solo threatening with archer albeit only the Red Templar so it's not like the other classes can't do it.

Btw Arcane Warrior is strongest against demons, due to them not blocking.  Too many blocks equals a dead AW.  Even a couple of human minions can ruin a geared AW's day, and quickly lead one to start the kite dance.

Scale in what way?  I don't solo often, but I haven't noticed enemies being weaker or less numerous while soloing.  Then again, I never really bothered to pay attention.  Anyway, I'd be curious to know if this has been verified.

Enemies' number or composition don't change, but they have more HP. I'm pretty sure they also do more damage and have more damage reduction too.

Soloing with an Assassin is much easier than with a group. In solo you kill almost all enemies 1 shot and go back to stealth while in a group some of them don't die 1 shot.

It's worth mentioning I don't have any hard numbers, it's based on my own experience. It's easy to see enemies don't die as fast when you're in a group compared to when you're soloing. It's more visible in Threatening and Perilous than on Routine. After a couple hours of Routine, you could probably solo it with any character lower level than 10 so it's not a good test ground.

A lot of people call for nerfs.. how many of those gits have got over powered purples already? I have trouble taking out the demon commander because he two shots my legionnaire because I always fall short of getting out of his fear ring or insta kill fade jump.. Vint commander is not much better, she will not bloody well stand still so I can cut her throat so I end up tanking the giant enforcers with the big axes whilst the range members of the party focus on her..

AW is good against demons, the weakest faction save for the boss which pulverises unaware teams. Two other factions are much harder because of stronger archers and melee units blocking.

 

Don't call for nerfs, call for buffs. Especially for the Katari.

I unlocked this guy - took him to a routine solo twice for the initial levelling and he got me farther and quicker in the match than any other character.

 

 

This guy is a god:

 

Can shoot AND use gimmick melee powers

Gets barrier for his melee and magic attacks effectively making him a better melee guy than warriors :blink:

 

 

Now he just needs TC to be complete.
