Can anyone tell me how to get the Superior Battlemaster Armour in Betyar’s Canyon Market in the hissing wastes all it shows is the sturdy version.

Sturdy is the only one he sells. If you find out where to get superior/masterwork schematic for it let us know as well.

Ah ok when I googled it the guide that came up said superior, they must have been mistaken.

You can apply the Superior upgrades to the armor once you craft it (gloves and boots). You buy them from the same merchant in the Hissing Wastes.

 

That aside, there seems to be no Superior version of the base armor.

So far it feels like "Superior" is just code-word for "Masterwork" (aka critical crafting) when it comes to light armor.
