Heyho guys,

 

I am playing a rouge Archer and can't decice between Assassin or Tempest..

Is a Tempest able to cast Thousands without loosing focus and then cast the Rift?

Together with an Assassin and Mark this would be absolutly deadly lol.

 

 

Simple idea for line-up vs. Dragons / Bosses (Good Dmg + Having Option to take control  or Solo)

 

Archer (Inquisitor) : Poison Weap. - Mark - Stealth - Full Draw. - Rift - ...

Mage Knight Ench. : (Simply because he's goddamn OP) Fade Cload - Spirit Blade

Warrior Templar : Shielding, Dmg and "Last Sacrifire" (For always having a last Option)

and

Dagger Tempest : Flasks - Thousands ... (no needs to explain)

or :

Warrior Reacher : Dragon Rage / maybe also changeable with Templar (as a Devour Tank)

 

Or Inquisitor Archer as Tempest: ... Flask  - Thousands - Rift..

Simple Tactics would be:

 

Mark - Dmg - Dmg - Dmg - Dmg - Dmg = 25k >  Dmg.

I'm playing on nightmare and once I get flask of freezing on tempest, I am ripping through enemies in real time like it's nothing. Two barrier, freeze mages (knight enchanter and rift mage) and one tank. I basically start a fight with a the chain from Cassandra, then it's face roll time. Stab, stab, stab, freeze, combo on frozen, enemies turn to face you, either stealth, or sleep power, auto crit on sleep and knocked down enemies + 50-75% damage for flanking. Then if surrounded, flask of freeze (85% damage resistance!) to stun lock the enemies. Enemies fall in under 3 seconds flat. No pausing needed.

 

My main is a mage but I basically switched to Sera. Only need to pause on bosses, but even then, mark of the rift, pull of the abyss, then thousand cuts (without flash of fire cheat), and pretty much nothing can survive.

I was pushing for assassin myself but now that I've seen tempest rogues in action I am just blown away, and I think I almost have everything I need for the specialization quest for tempest so hopefully I'll be good to go soon.
