I'm told there is a specific quest that unlocks the ability to obtain the rare "Fade Touched" materials. Does anyone know what quest specifically? I'm starting another play through and I want to be sure to finish this quest as soon as I can.
When do "Fade Touched" items Unlock?

I never did a quest for them, sometimes mobs drop random fade touched items, sometimes resource nodes have them....I think they are all random.

You can acquire the items at any time (On my latest character I got a Fade Touched Iron on the very first iron node in the tutorial!). To use them however you need to recruit an enchanter in Skyhold.
