Wish that the mission stats tracked support roles better

Decided to put most of my classes down and level up keeper just to get her to 20 so I can promote.  I'm in threatening currently at 14 and have DEFINITELY held the party together on more than a few occasions thanks to the barriers, it just sucks to get to the end and see our mission stats and see that I am usually in 3rd or 4th place since the game only tracks offensive traits.  Considering this DIRECTLY correlates into the amount of experience that is earned, it is a bit of a disappointment.  Considering only 2 classes can cast barrier (I think elementalist can, I don't even have him yet) I don't think it would be crazy to want the game to track amount of damage absorbed from barriers to be tracked in the mission stats section (minus the AW barrier)

Thoughts?

Uh, the scores do track more than damage inflicted. When I'm playing Keeper I will many times finish close to, or at the top, even when there are heavy damage dealers in the party

It does.  I have topscored on more than 1 occasion focusing only on barrier, while simultaneously having the least amount of kills.

Interesting, probably coming up low then since I didn't pay much attention to my build the first time around and my barriers are terrible.  Just to clarify though, there are no "medals" that track barriers?  It's just a metric tracked in the background?  So you basically come up with a good score just nothing directly showing/indicating exactly what you did?

As other's have said you get support XP for damage other 's take with Barrier, and I usually come in 1st or 2nd pugging with mine with a crap staff on routine or threatening. I would like a medal or two for barrier/guard generated though.

Yep, there are no barrier related medals.

I almost always get first with my barrier focused keeper. I don't know the calculations but barrier has to give points somehow. I think when damaged during combat, repeatedly what someone said in another thread

Good to know!  Keepers entire left tree seems insane for barrier generation.  Either pug keepers are awful or I am overestimating the benefits of some of the synergy between some of these.

In me experience most PUG Keepers have focused on their Primal Tree, to the exclusion of improving Barrier... Which is fine... If you want to play that way... <sigh> There's nothing wrong with that... :(

Seriously though, since this stat is tracked for XP reward purposes, it would be nice to see a Challenge category to track this and other Class based team work benefits. There are a lot of characters who apply really nice status effects or who capitalize on combo chances, who should really have a way of displaying their awesomeness. <looks meaningfully in the direction of the Alchemist, Assassin and Necromancer> ;)

You want to see low score, you should play buffbot templar. Both tank classes are almost always at the bottom of the scoreboard unless specced for DPS.

Dont you get score for loosing guard?  If not, Pugs must be doing really terrible to let my legionnaire topscore them, and tank everything.

I don't know how they track for losing guard, all I know is that 80% of the time the legionnaire/templar is at the bottom unless they specced for DPS. I have seen legionnaires and templars get top score but usually they were using 2-3 dps abilities instead of taunting/guard building ones.

I have found the Assassin to be my lowest scoring kit, ditto for my friends .. it just seems like this kit doesn't score well at all.

I have come in first and second with a legionarre who mainly built guard so my team can kill. Support exp is worth so much you usually end up towards the top. In general I think the end game
Does not show how well a player really did tho.
