There is an animation change with the character if you look closely.

Sword and shield Warriors have a more distinct animation but the rest are pretty obscure. The thing is, I'd be fine with a little status icon or something else in the hud that'd not nearly be as much work as patching in new animations. Just some sort of more obvious visual feedback.

What sprint? I only have a "briskly walk" toggle.
I hear you but run speed is a separate issue. I'd be content with a "briskly walk" icon.

I think sprint is like "0.5% chance of sprinting or 99.5% chance of briskly walking, unless you are a Hunter"
lol most of the chars aren't too bad, but I noticed the Hunter does not seem to speed up at all

I agree it doesn't read as well as it could. Once we clear out the bigger issues we have outstanding and get to polish this is something I'd like to look at. When I first implemented sprint I put in a blue whisp trail behind the character to indicate they were sprinting so you could run around like little Tron motorcycles. Even though I fight for the user, it had to be removed ( because it was placeholder and silly ; ) I still use it locally on my machine though ) END OF LINE

Petition for blue whisp trail lights that (mentally) make you 200% faster, starting now.

There totally needs to be an accessory that does nothing but add a blue trail behind you when sprinting.

I think that if this goes through, it's only fair that if another player crosses your trail, it kills them instantly. Now how's that for necessary teamwork?

Can . . . can I play on your machine? Tron wisps sounds awesome.
Actually, who am I kidding? That would be so distracting. I'd dance around trying not to hit my/other players sprint trails and try to die when I touched one. Everyone would hate me.
