Hi. I'm about 17hrs into the game and I'm getting a vibe that the choice made between Mages and Templars has an impact on whom we get to join the inner circle. Basically, I wanna know if we can get all the companions in one playthrough. I'm fearing that by going with the mages I will have access to Dorian, but not Cole... but I wanted Cole and don't care about Dorian in my first playthrough, due to their specialties. And on my second playthrough, it's the othwe way around. I wanna go with Templars and get Dorian, and don't care about Cole.

 

So, should I really worry? Can we get everyone?

You get all of the companions no matter what you choose.
