For the armor crafting, it does not, so feel free to use all those irons up.

Sorry to bump an oldish thread but I didn't think it was worth starting a new one just for my little question.  Can anyone confirm that it is for sure that it is the 'Smoke' variant of the Alchemist T2 armor that is the red/orange color as per the post on the first page?  I'm at the point I can craft an upgrade so I want to be sure and not waste my leather.  (Mostly it just seems odd that 'smoke' would be red when there is another option called 'ember' which would seem a more obvious choice for a red/orange color.)

Edit: Went ahead and crafted the Smoke rigging for Alchemist today and it is indeed the red one.

I'm really disappointed that Bioware doesn't give more informations about armors skins and multiplayer mechanics in general. I was happy to see patch 5 came out but it doesn't make the game much better. We should know how to obtain new skins, which armors we crafted and which one we have to craft in order to unlock new skin and which skin.

Did they ever get the Katari's armor apoearance to change? I hate the default look of the character.
