Inter-Species to a new level?

Doing it with Tali is like doing it with your robot....between the voice and the mask, I don't even think of her as anything but machine really.
Garrus? He's my 2nd favorite character and all but serious EW at the possible parts he's packing. Thane is just....Thane. It ruins my image of him as a silent assassin that he can be romanced.
I think that Bioware needs to put the brakes on this whole romance thing until we can play as other species.
P.S. I don't care how advanced or sentient you are, all of that is bestiality in my book. Especially Garrus.

As for Garrus, yeah that does seem far fetched. I'm actually guessing the romance option will be a platonic one. Kind of like Juhani from KOTOR.

Personally, i feel like anything that helps the player feel like their Sheperd is acting the way that they would, Bioware should at least consider including it. You don't have to romance anyone but humans if you don't want, after all.

i feel the same way. the only difference is they are sentient. it's pretty creepy when they hit on you. luckily, you can put the brakes on fast.
After enduring Zevran from Dragon Age:Origins. I doubt anything is going to creep me out in Mass Effect 2.

I have been misinterpreted before, but this is definitely the worst time. I am trying not to have the thread locked, I kinda wanna see a dev post about what they were thinking. So please, keep these ridiculous comments out.

Did you have to throw in that "Especially Garrus" remark at the end? :\\

You'd be wrong. Watch the Mordin video, it's...educational.

What does it matter what they were thinking? It really isn't up for debate. The story line for romance with Aliens fits into the ME universe, so I fail to see the problem.
Don't think I've ever seen anyone go OMGWTFBBQ about Captain Kirk whoring it up in his series, and is it really so different?
That you compare another sentient being to an animal, and suggesting such a relationship is akin to beastiality is you doing so, is rather... narrow minded? Absurd? I can't even describe it, except to accuse you of being a xenophobe, but I'd rather not.
Yes, this is a make believe imaginary world that your are trying to bring a viewpoint from our society into. It doesn't mesh, it doesn't work. Just accept it, and avoid romancing them period.
To reiterate - Bioware doesn't owe anyone an explanation for what they've included in their game, and demanding they respond is silly.

Tali/Garrus relationships are pure fan service. Simple as that.
Oh? I know the dev's were suprised people wanted to romance them, but in Tali's defense she was actually considered for a romance option in ME1 (Before there were fan's to be serviced), but was rejected because some Dev said, "But she has chicken feet!"
Anyway, fan service or no, if it deepens their characters and is a logical progression of their mindsets, beliefs, desires, and emotions, then it's hardly fan service and simple character progression.

A good friend, dunno if I would ever want to get in bed with a turien though, they just look way different then what humans are used to. I mean they look all point and sharp and have a few odd bits.
That and arn't they made up of like a completely different amminio acid or something? I was wondering would that cause a reaction if they had sex with a human?

I have to agree actually. I'm sure Bioware's writers will think of something to explain it, but it will probably seem really contrived.
I bet when Drew Karpyshyn first designed Tali he had no clue she would ever end up as a romance interest.
