A Qunari mage seemed like an interesting choice for a my character, however after about 20 hours in this play through I noticed that my race is being discriminated against. Why do I have to wear the same variations between a coat and a mail shirt with a but flap.....

 

The amount of money I've spent on armor schematics because I ASSUMED I could wear it (Since Bioware failed to put in the schematic race restrictions) is absurd. 

 

I can look past the bugs I've seen so far, like MASSIVE combat audio bugs, blank screens, crashes, terrible camera angles, loading underneath the map, etc etc, but this is something that isn't a bug so probably won't be patched. Instead at best it will be a paid DLC for THE NEW EPIC QUNARI ARMOR! GET IT TODAY AND BE THE WARRIOR YOU ARE MEANT TO BE!!! Blah blah blah. 

 

Can we just get a few qunari mage armor pieces and maybe a neat helmet or two that can add some variety to this dry barren landscape? PLEASE!!!!!

I understand your disappointment, Qunari is my favorite race after all...I've been playing as a Qunari Reaver since release, haven't completed game yet and I even thought many times about starting new game because of lack of armor diversity(and I'm not really happy how my Battle master armor looks), just lost all interest because I know that almost all items\shematics which I'll find I'll not be able to use or they will look just the same.

 

Hopefuly upcoming patch will remove Race Restrictions or even add Unique Qunari armor, though I doubt it...I think we will get new Hairs and armors only after buying some DLCs.

I see it as simply missing material at launch and although cosmetic, important to gameplay.

 

My surprise was getting the Dragon armor and not being able to mod it, so it was no better than lower quality gear.  Also finding that only the primary character could use it nonsensical.

Hopefully Vitaar armor will be a thing in the future - now that would be something easy for Bioware to implement on top of looking sick on any Qunari.
