OH MY GOD. Guys I might found a serious bug now looking into the journal more connected to this sound bug.
Bear with me.

After cleaning the journal and codex ( recheck all unread note and getting the queat finished note for them again) and I got music and banter back.

I went to Hinterland to buy some elfroot. I got an update for finishing Skyhold " A Green Garden" update. But I already finished it like 20 hours ago.

I noticed today that in completed quests for this entry it showed 0/30 elfroot even though i finished it already. It looks like after finish the quest it DOES NOT lock it down. Every time I ran out of this ingredient in my inventory it takes it as UNFINISHED ongoing quest. After buying elfroot again it shows 30/30. It might over load the game with absolutely USELESS data.
Please check it if I am right.

I can now conform that NONE of the FINISHED quests lock down that needed elfroot.
destroying all elfroot promted quest finish sign again and in COMPLETED quests they show ander Haven in "Lotus and Root" and Skyhold "A Green Garden" and "A better Courtyard" shows 0/30 elfroot. None of the quest locked down and they still ongoing...after buying elfroot again in Completed quests shows 30/30 and got the quest finished sign. Again.

It is a pretty bad BUG.

Also I am missing 3 quarry from the completed quests....so it means they are still ongoing quests for the game..? Isn't it contradicting?

Please read it again. These are FINISHED, completed quests. But every time u ran out if the requested items ( in your active inventory) , that needed to finish the old quest, they become active ongoing quests again.

Easy to test. Destroy all elfroot in your inventory. Go to finished quests and see under the skyhold upgrade where they list all ingredients they needed what it shows for elfroot. Mine says 0/30

Yes, I have similar bug with several of requisition officer's quests. I complete the quest, after that it is activated again. I must have completed the Nevarran Longbow request 4 or 5 times already.(

got this problem, not exclusively relegated to requisition quests. last i checked the completed quest log in my journal -- i'm on the 'what pride hath wrought' main quest or whatever it's called -- i got a completed quest notification for in hushed whispers.

The requisition quests are endless. As you finish them you get new ones (which may eventually be a repeat of one you've already completed). It's one of the ways to grind Power if you need points. Not clear if it's a bug or by design.

I found that completing the garden quests on a requisition table instead of in the garden may bug out the garden causing an open ended quest.

There seems to be some generic sequence of events error causing old info to be repeated at random -seems to be harmless so far.

Lol...not that harmless if it is connected to the Journal and looks like the journal might be one of the reason for the banter / silence bug

I have run into problem a few times.  Mostly concerning the gathering quests.  It really gets annoying after while.

Eventually - may be. 4-5 times in the row (activated again immediately after completion)  - doubtful it is just the design.

Especially when it takes materials out of completed quest....

after you finish a view requesition quests it will stop in this map, so pretty sure its by design to grind power

I repeat. If you sell your ingredients from your inventory, the ALREADY finished quest lose the ingredient from its list.

I second that. Once I bought massive amount of elfroot and the quest finished mark appeared on screen blinking finished, like, for 5 minutes, one after other. It was quite annoying.

this triggers for me whenever i look into my completed quests and i haven't in a while. quests that show as completed at the time will pop up again to tell me that they're completed -- not exactly the same thing, but worth considering as it is related.

i finished templars to the west my first time through the hinterlands, when i was about 7 hours into the game. here i am in the exalted plains at 40 hours, having just checked my completed quest log.

If you go into your 'completed quests' journal and click on every completed quest with a star by it, sometimes you will finally get the 'quest complete' notification showing up that the game had skipped when you *actually* completed the quest.

And yes, I've noticed that sometimes the game fails to tell you that the quest completed at the time you met all the requirements.

This is a bug, but it's a bug with the quest complete notification system, not necessarily the quest failing to complete.

it gives me quest complete both times -- when i actually complete the quest and when i look in the journal. so far it doesn't seem to have any negative impact unless its weird correlation with the banter bug effects more than just me, but yeah.
