ME3Tweaks ModMaker is an online mod creation tool for Mass Effect 3. You can create mods in an easy to use interface that details all the variables you are editing, categorized into logical containers that make it easy to tweak that one setting you wanted or tons of stuff if you so desire.

Try it yourself at https://me3tweaks.com/modmaker. Fork Genesis or fork an existing mod to use that mod as a base to build on and then publish it. Once published, you can enter the code into Mod Manager and download it, and then play it.

Some balanced items are not editable.

List of editable items:

  • All player and enemy weapons (basegame/MP)
  • All consumables
  • Enable/Disable maps from rotation (including unreleased testing maps and original FB white/glacier)
  • Objectives
  • Wavelists (all 7 on all difficulties)
  • Wave budgets
  • All MP powers (sp coming soon)
  • Enemy stats on all difficulties
  • Global game stats on all difficulties (mp)
  • You can add any number of mixins
  • You can now edit variables you can't normally edit via coalesced through Dynamic Mixins, an online patch generator that's as easy to use as the rest of ModMaker

How do I donate to you

I don't accept monetary donations, I don't feel it's the right thing to do. If you want to help just use my site with the adblocker off. Or make a video of you playing a mod, because I like seeing people use my mods/tools and having a good time.

Looks wonderful.

Also, now I can replace cerberus enemies everywhere with a combination of collectors, reapers and geth. The days of cerberus are soon to be over.

Mod used : Cerberus ennemies replaced by Collectors, Geth and Reapers units. That would be a first, lol.

More seriously, that could be a very refreshing method for plat solos : create waves with totally unseen compositions. You PC guys are lucky for all the possibilities you have.

This looks great but I wonder how you'll be able to play standard ME4 after having experienced all the fun options here.

I think I remember one of Bioware's excuses about their stance on modding ME3 was that it ran on a third party engine and so there were copyright issues or something. Do you think it's likely they'll change their mind for ME4 given the next game runs on EA's own Frostbite engine?

Haha they won't change a damn thing. EA doesn't care, and I doubt BioWare does either. I've never seen an inkling that BioWare has any opinion on people modding the game, but I'm going to bet it's negative. The only indicator I've ever seen is that I've seen some logs going to some of EA's internal IP addresses coming up in my website traffic, so *someone* at Bioware is looking at my sites.

Since Battlefield runs on frostbite I doubt they'll make it moddable at all. Frostbite is not anywhere near as moddable as UE3, though I've found UE3 kind of sucks.

Well, that's disappointing but not really surprising. Hopefully they'll include some of the options you have when they eventually release the next game.

It's EA/Bioware... I'm not going to get my hopes up.

Wow that looks really cool if it works. Why do we have to sign up for an account though? Some kind of anti-bot deal?

Sure, it'll be something along the lines of "We can't guarantee stability" if the battlefield franchise is any indication.

I made it have accounts because A) The class required it, B) You can track who makes what, C) people who have an account are much more likely to produce better content. It's like having a comments system where you have to login rather than completely open. Essentially BSN vs 4chan. I do not want 4Chan.

Currently I am working on adding at least 1 enemy weapon (since they're all using practically the same variables, give or take 1 or 2). Then I'm going to add another file type that modmaker works on (TLK) and make it so the Press Any Key to Continue screen shows the mod name, and allows you to add the old maps back. And the testing maps if you want (which I have to give the name again).

It's EA/Bioware... I'm not going to get my hopes up.

One of the best things about Neverwinter Nights was the ridiculous amount of player-made mods and campaigns.  Even now, more than 10 years later, there are still NWN persistent worlds running.  You'd think Bioware would have learned from that.  Of course, that was pre-EA.

Any chance that the bugs of the MP unlocker mod are ever fixed?

- Chakram must be equiped in the lobby or is deselcted

- store gives way too much character cards

- cooldowns with 'heavy mods' are extremely long when hosting

that leaves the probability of randomizing something with cerberus in it which clearly is a no go

Have not noticed nothing wrong with cooldowns. But in some odd cases, the normal maps are/were not selectable. For example, you can play only on old glacier and on old white. The new version of the map is there and is selectable but the old version always loads regardless. It seems that these are/were the compiler-introduced bugs.

With regard to chakram launcher, it has to be re-bought from the store every time in my case. But this might be normal. Also, I don't like the gun anyhow.

Another glitch is that coalesced is not always backed up in my case. Not a big deal though, as I back up manually anyhow.

Definitely not normal.  Once bought, it should stay in your inventory.
