Cole commented on my Cullen romance today, in his usual unusual way. It wasn't during banter though. I don't remember his exact words, I'm sure a Cullenite knows. But it was something like:

Just listening to some of the banter I've missed in some of those youtube videos makes me realise there is so much to this game I havn't seen yet.

 

I'm only on my second play thru though.  First onle took me 84 hours about.

Cole will comment on Cullen's romance to Solas something about "Happiness Joyous and they embrace it" to which Solas replies "How could they not?"

There are also two Orlesian nobles in the great hall that comment on your love life, or lack of it. There are three different conversations if I remember right. It doesn't matter who you romance they will always comment. They loved that my human quizzing fell for Cullen and they were disappointed that my elf quizzing was romancing Solas.

I know Sera comments on both Cullen and Solas, Cole and Solas have a banter after Solas' final romance scene. And Leliana will tease Cullen at the war table for "eagerly awaiting her presence".

Odd- I did get this bit of banter about jousting, but my inquisitor is definitely female and romancing cullen. I did think it was funny though. Dorian is my BFF. He's the only one I've been able to appease on a regular basis.
Solas pretty much hates my guts to the point where he's given me NO personal quests which makes me kind of sad. Don't know if it's a bug or my approval is really that low with him.

Wut, femquisitor and dorian jousting 8D? My dirty little mind explodes thinking about dorian and the male inquisitor, but heh, can't imagine that.

Varric asks Bull about details, impressions and imagery on what he and the Inquisitor do so he can put it in his book, and Bull is all "Sorry, that room is for him and me. No one else invited." It made me lol.

That he wasn't good enough for her basically. Which I find really humorous considering who he is.

No one's commented on my romance with Bull, either via banter or in Skyhold. Kind of sad

Hopefully a lot of the banter bugs get patched. I think that's the source of a lot of people's issues, because there are several for most romances most of which are very amusing. It does make one kind of miss banter triggers.

Cole just (possibly) mentioned my Bullmance at Skyhold:

It's not a bug, though the banters do seem difficult to get sometimes.

 

I have yet to have a companion comment on a romance except Sera's comment about Solas up above. Inquisitor keeps it on the way down low, apparently.

That's exactly my point. Orlesians. They don't even like elves, and "don't like" ain't even cover it.

This isn't verbatim, but if you romance Cassandra, and ask Sera what she thinks about Cassandra, she says (in her usual vulgar style) "Well, I don't think of her the way you think of her. You just thought your way right up in there, didn't you?"

Also, if you ask Vivienne what she thinks about your inner circle, she says (paraphrased) "My dear, if you wanted to talk about Cassandra, just say so! You make an adorable couple. Or at least you would if Cassandra ever smiled."

I was getting a little heated listening to Iron Bull hit on Cass before I could romance her. Out of spite I put him in my party without armor or a weapon, and refused to let him use potions or revive him

I would love to get the actual wording on this one.  It fired in my game once, and by the time I realized it was regarding my Cullen romance I haven't been able to go back in my saves and get it to fire again.  I love Cole, the fact that hours later I can have that "OMG that's what he meant" moment makes him very interesting.  Still wish I could listen to that line again.

I missed those entirely! Can you point out what they're wearing or something so I can keep an eye out for them on my next playthrough?
