I get most of the comments on romances at Skyhold.

 

No party banter comments on Cullen; Dorian if you talk to him in the library and Sera if you ask her about your advisors. I don't remember anyone else mentioning it. Leliana & Josephine have commented in the war room I think.

 

Party banter for Sera and Kamaria; once from Blackwall and once from Iron Bull.

 

Party banter for Alcina and Iron Bull & it came from Sera. Sera also comments if you ask her about IB at the tavern. I want Cole's comments on their relationship though

If in a romance with Sera as a mage, Dorian will comment on her being with one, with Sera defending herself saying that the Inquisitor's different. Cassandra will comment to Sera at some point, wishing them well, at which point Sera will tease Cassandra for being a romantic, and then directs commentary to the Inquisitor about telling everyone else about it, at which point you can respond agreeing to or telling her it will be their little secret.

One playthrough I romanced Cullen.  I had Varric and Blackwall in my party and Blackwall started to ask about my relationship with "the guard capitan".  Then Varric cut in and says "She's stronger than you..." or something similar (I was a warrior).  Also, when I had my inquisitor romace Blackwall and had Sera and Blackwall in party, Sera said something about knowing what he did in the barn with me and getting hay in his bits!  That so far, has been the only in in party banter I've had across my playthroughs.

I've only gotten the one with The Iron Bull and Cole. It's one where you can interject. After Bull asks Cole how he thinks he/she feels about talking about it, I got three options. I forgot what they all were but I picked "mortified". I said something like "I wouldn't mind if a fade rift opened up and swallowed me up right now." Solas was also in my party and he said something like "only if you let it tie you up first!"

on my second playthrough now and i think i have noticed that you don't get romance-specific party banter until completing what pride had wrought. or maybe this is specific to a sera romance? but both playthroughs, it wasn't until after finishing what pride had wrought, then speaking to sera which triggers the final romance cut scene in which you can either stay together or break it off. after that, romance party banter kicks in. it's almost like you are "finally official" at that point.

anyway, just got a new one (for me) today in which blackwall asks "how are you two?" and sera responds with something like "great! she's the leader, so she's got tension, and i make it gone." you can respond with a laugh (a sultry one, i might add), or tell them to shut it. pretty cute.

You seem to have the wrong idea about the guard captain. That was a conversation about Aveline.

The General party banter is pretty good, but the romance banter does seem to be lacking. I'm romancing Cullen and like most people in this thread I've had the comment about awaiting her presence in the war room, the nobles talking about it and the bartender. Sadly I've never had the Dorian comment but that sounds rather hilarious. This does kind of make sense to me though. If you romance a party member other party members would be more likely to pick up on it or the way you act around eachother. With Cullen however your largely alone with him whenever he's around either at the war room with just the advisors or in his office so i guess the party would know less of it.
For characters like Cass and Iron Bull though I think there was a lot of potential banter that could have been added in as they're so central. And all romances could have utilised some options for banter such as when you ask Cassandra for advice etc.

Dorian comments about all the romances, I think, but apart from that, it's pretty limited. And it's a pity. I still have fond memories of Zevran's advice to Alistiar.

Just about everyone has something to say about Inq and Sera hooking up.  Dorian seemed a bit nonplussed about it, in fact.  I did wonder if the bartender wasn't channeling Oghren, since he seems to have a similar reaction....  Blackwall's or Bull's and Sera's banter is cool, and you can join in.  I can't remember which, since I split face time pretty evenly between them.  It's tough to catch specific banter lines, since you have to vary your party composition to hear them, yet travel with companions enough to cycle through until the line triggers.

 

Most of the romances have specific banter, it's just finding it.

I like the way some banters are modified based on if you're in a romance, for example when Sera asks Cassandra about all her names post-Halamshiral;

 

Sera: Hey Cassandra! Were those really all your names or were you having them on?

Cassandra: Having who on?

Sera: At the Winter Palace. Were you having them on or are you really Cassandra Allergy Porter Thing-a-ma-jig Pentaghast.

Cassandra: It really is. My family is as pretentious as it is large.

Sera: (Laughs) How do you remember them all?

Cassandra: I have them stitched into all my clothes.

 

(If Inquisitor is in a romance with Cassandra)

 

Sera: Hey Inquisitor! Is that true? Do they fit across her underpants?

Cassandra: You will not answer that.

 

(If Inquisitor is not in a romance with Cassandra)

 

Sera: (Laughs) There's no way that fits across your breeches.

Yep sorry, I should have clarified that it's just the standard one as above, I just happened to get it during romancing Cullen but it seems to apply to everyone.

I prefer the response if the Inquisitor is cool with it.  Especially if Blackwall is in the party:

 

Inquisitor: Bull and I are consenting adults, and there's nothing wrong with what we choose to do in bed.
Cole: Not just in bed. Sometimes it's up against the wall. Once on the war table.

Blackwall:  I look forward to informing Cullen.

I know there's a bunch regarding Sera's romance both at Skyhold and out in the field. Skyhold's is easy to get since it's required to  talk to everyone about it to further the romance but i've been trying to get the other party members to comment on it out in the field and so far the only one that i've been able to get is Vivienne.

This only sort of counts, as it's not party banter, but the Orlesian pair in the great hall have a great gossip conversation about your romance, be it same-sex or opposite-sex, and m/m versus f/f (only slight differences).
 
Here is the whole thing for a m/m romance:
 

Man: Committed bachelor, I hear.
Woman: Shame.
M: I know.
W: A way with words, too.
M: Shame.

Man: Any stories?
Woman: Oh, plenty. No one interesting, though.

I actually stood around for about 3 hours with Sera and Dorian hoping their conversation about my/Sera's romance would happen and it never came up. Few hours later i go to change my team in the Frostback Basin my and Dorian just randomly brought it up. After all that time it just happened like that. Cassandra has also joined the commenting party. The only people i haven't heard from is Blackwall, Varric and Cole (Who i'm not brining since i like my nickname.)

 

Iron Bull's conversations is still my favorite.

 

Iron Bull: So, you and the boss huh?

Sera: I know right?

Iron Bull: Didn't think you were the kind to bed your way to power.

Sera: Power bed it's way to me. Big beautiful difference.

Inquisitor: You tell him! Love you too.

Sera: See?

Iron Bull: I stand corrected.

These are pretty hard to come by in the vanilla game.  On a given playthrough I've never had more than one party banter sequence that had to do with my LI.  Most of my favorite lines actually come from Trespasser.  Cassandra has some cute bits of dialogue about the Sera's romance, and Cole has a really funny interaction with Bull if your in a Bull romance.

I've never ever gotten the Dorian comment about my character's romance with Cullen. Lilly, Cole and Sera make comments but that's it.

 

Comparing the romance comments made in DAO to A DAI- DAO wins hands down. No matter how many times I play [DAO] the banter between Zevran and Alistair and Alistair and Oghren about HOF romance with Alistair makes me laugh as if its the first time hearing it.

 

Even though the game has been out for quite sometime, the lack of Cullen romance banter while walking through the countryside still disappoints.
