Ok here are my problems I'm having on my current play through.

I'm playing hard ff off and I'm doing fine sort of

The issues I'm having are in combat my archer is constantly switching targets without me pressing anything! Whenever this happens i immediately open tac cam and put him back on the original target which is usually a ranged character or Mage that needs to be dispatched ASAP.

This is very annoying and in the prologue it said to use rs to switch off a locked target. Problem is I never seem to lock on to anything except for drufalos and goats that I didn't want targeted anyway lol.

Other issue is I wanted to play as an assassin archer since sera and varric were the other 2 specs. I didn't know if it would be viable for a ranged. But my quest got bugged so I went back and got tempest. Problem is ip the flasks don't seem to do anything even at close quarters. Am I missing something?

It's not that big a deal to me if my archer targets something new while I'm keep pressing buttons but I just point the left click mouse button to target.

Flick the RS until you get rhe target you want, then click the RS. The enemy wil be locked, abd you will strafe while shooting if you move around
