So I'm destroying red lyrium deposits for Varric.And the 12th one is behind a big dwarven door on the other side of Storm Coast. I can't get it to open . How do I get it to open?

I've been wondering about that, and I thought it might be related to locating all the astrariums and solving the puzzles. The thing is that I can't remember if I did all the astrariums there. I have to go back and check to see what I did - been so long since I've been to the Storm Coast. If you saw any lights, like, say, three lights somewhere near the door, then I would be willing to bet that it is related to completing all the astrariums.

 

Unfortunately, I can't check right now because I really ought to be working - lol.

As you progress through the game, a war table mission will show up called Red Templars on the Storm Coast. Completing this will open up the area.

Ah, well that answers that question. Now that I think about it, I recall getting that op and doing it. I just never got around to going back to the Storm Coast because I was so busy with other stuff. Guess it's time to head back there (after work that is - heh).
