Does Elegant Defense or Mana Surge trigger with Chaotic focus?

doubtful, Chaotic Focus reduces existing barrier by 50%. It's practically impossible to consume just 1 barrier, it would be gone before you could start casting. Barriers fading don't trigger it either. So...no. Elegant Defense is also on expire, not on enemy destroy. It should trigger regardless of if an enemy destroys it or if it fades on it's own. Mana Surge is the only one that specifically states an enemy destroying it.
...And in case anyone was wondering, no Mana Surge wont work on other people if you cast the barrier, it's just the caster and doesn't matter if they're the ones who cast it.
