Unfortunately, Inquisition has only so much money to spend, and barbers these days are not cheap. It is my fear that we will have to use another kind of money from another world to buy something called "DLC".
Best of luck with your hair,
Inquisitor Maxwell Trevelyan

Firstly, thank you for your reply, I would like to state how astounding it is that we are both inquisitors and both possess the same last name! Quite a large and wonderful world indeed!
Second, I thank you for this information and will strive to attain this artifact you refer to as “DLC”. I shall concentrate all of the inquisition’s monetary resources in an attempt to learn more of this “DLC” as soon as possible. How I am expected to garner the respect of the Orlesian nobles with my current hairstyle is beyond me, not all of us are as skilled as Madame de Fer at the game that we can prance around bald and still sway the hearts and minds of the nobility.
Sincerely,
Inquisitor Latorn Trevelyan

I'd like to join in on this role-playing discussion but I fear that I am not as quite elegant in my writing as you two unless I spend some time at it. In any case, you have my support (and the support of countless others I'd wager) for better hair styles either in a patch (hopefully) or at least in an expansion. Bioware did a great job with the character creator and the armor/clothing in the game but the hair, as usual, remains awful. It's not a game breaker but it would be great if they sorted it out and provided some better haircuts including hair physics as that would be awesome.
Although I fear terrible hair is something we need to get used to from Bioware. Perhaps it's a running inside joke of the developers. Everything else about the game looks wonderful graphically apart from the hair...
Edit:
And we could do with an actual barber in the game or...scrap that, the option to completely redo our character's facial appearance would be great. I'm happy with my current character but it's nice to have something like the black emporium in future just in case for future characters I might create.

Every day it seems to grow a little bit longer, I'd really like to cut my bangs. Yet no one seems to have left any scissors laying around Skyhold. Speaking of which, I might need a shave too, my beard has started to levitate slightly off my jaw (a magical malady I noticed after the conclave incident) could someone please lend me their razor?

Maybe you could bring this up to vivienne next time you see her. From what I hear, she has one of the best salons in orlais.

Actually this is more of what I'm getting at, even more important than new hairstyles is the option to return to the CC once the game has started much like the black emporium mirror. I don't care how it's done, whether it's another mirror or if a consumable is less difficult/faster to implement, I'm pretty sure this is a feature that is in high demand.

And they all made fun of me for my lack of hair growth. You have fun with those bangs in your face now.

It's not that kind of salon, I fear... You could consider it next time you attend but I fear most of the guests will have imbibed too much wine. I perish the thought of your poor locks after such an event.
All my best,

You can trim your hair in the game, and it is obvious how you do it.
Step #1 be female
Step #2 romance Sera
Step #3 agree to what Vivienne says as part of her romance quest
Step #4 Profit and one funny line of dialogue.
